A Timeless Escape by the Sea

Les 4 Vents offered us a truly unforgettable escape last summer—one of those rare moments in life where time seems to slow down just so you can breathe it all in. From our window, the sweeping view over the historic D-Day beach felt almost dreamlike, a horizon where beauty and memory meet. And Grandcamp-Maisy itself… it was as if the village had been gently paused in time, inviting us to wander its quiet streets and savor its charm.
Our room was warm and inviting, thoughtfully prepared with everything we could wish for. Each morning began with a breakfast that felt like a love letter to Normandy: flaky fresh pastries, local cheeses, golden butter, and velvety, creamy yogurt. The kind of simple pleasures that make you close your eyes for a moment just to hold onto the taste.
Denis, our host, was the heart of the experience—gentle, friendly, and genuinely attentive. His suggestions led us to hidden corners and special moments we would have never found on our own.
Grandcamp had all we needed to feel perfectly at home: welcoming restaurants, a charming bakery, a small grocery, and a lively daily fish market that reminded us how close we were to both land and sea.
A stay we warmly and wholeheartedly recommend—one that lingers in the memory long after you’ve left.

Perfect stay for the landing beaches

Great B&B directly on the sea in a strategic position to visit the landing beaches. Denis, the owner is a real dandy exhibiting his artwork. Breakfast with quality products. The only point to improve is the bed mattress but the value for money remains great

A Peaceful Retreat with an Unforgettable View

My recent stay at this charming little inn in Normandy was absolutely delightful! The location is simply beautiful, offering a breathtaking, unobstructed view of the sea that was mesmerizing to wake up to every morning.
If you're looking for a truly calm and serene escape, this is the place. It is a perfect place to use as a base to explore the area and so close to D-Day beaches.
The inn itself has a wonderfully warm and welcoming atmosphere. What really stood out, however, was the breakfast. It was a true taste of the region, featuring an incredible selection of wonderful cheeses from Normandy. It was the perfect start to our day, and the quality of the local products was superb.
The owner, Denis, was attentive and kind, making the whole experience feel personal and relaxed. This hidden gem offers tranquility, beauty, and authentic local flavor. I highly recommend it for anyone visiting the Normandy coast!

Normandy facing the sea

Visit Normandy and stroll on the most beautiful beaches of the region, with as home port this very pretty guest house: what a good stay!
Everything was perfect, Welcoming Denis, his availability, and his help to help us choose very good tables, a hearty breakfast, we feasted!!!
The stunning sea view, the quality of the bed the decoration of our room, we enjoyed every moment.
