overall decent

The restrooms are always kept clean, which is essential.
Regarding the pool, very large and the possibility to swim with a dedicated lane, you should know that it is the municipal pool of Guillestre, so not dedicated to people from the campsite.
As for the pitches, there is something for everyone depending on your preferences and availability, of course; the proximity to the main road causes some traffic noise, especially motorcycles and trucks, but you get used to it anyway.
Finally, for the staff, it's 10/10, helpful and kind, even if a reception presence between 12 p.m. and 2 p.m. would be a plus.

top-notch campsite

very nice discovery. 3-day stay with my grandson in a stilt cabin. all the comforts, a dream for a 7-year-old kid who wants to give 15 stars to his luxury cabin. a great welcome. family campsite. the municipal pool is really great and also free for campers. we had dinner in the evening at the snack bar with a wonderful couple of restaurateurs. I highly recommend it and I will come back soon with my family

Calm and fresh.

Beautiful welcome in a relaxing setting, quiet and by the river. Arrived (2 motorcycle friends) in the late afternoon. The perched cabin is ideal for one night and you can camp next door. Fresh pool in the campsite, a real delight. The manager is passionate and goes out of his way to make everything go for the best. It is a place that makes you want to come back.

Perfect Location

Good pitches and clean toilets/showers, the site is a great base for a weeks white water boating and, I hear, for cycling, walking and climbing. Guillestre is an enchanting village, as are those surrounding it. The site deserves a rating of 3, or 4 at a stretch, but the receptionist was so unfriendly/uninterested we've decided to give it 2.
