Excellent stopover in this renovated Ibis

Excellent stop on the way to vacation.
Very welcoming staff.
Completely renovated hotel.
Large and quiet rooms.
Note the breakfast buffet, which is a pleasant change from what is usually found in Ibis hotels, with several additions that provide a welcome variety.
The restaurant offers a sufficient selection.
Large parking lot.

Unpleasant, stench, noise, not clean

We got a room just next to the reception that smelled like drainage, was noisy, where the lights were not working correctly and into the bargain was accessible to wheelchair users. Constant chattering people on our doorstep, which was very disturbing. The lights in the bathroom flickered constantly, after reporting this they were replaced. A sewer smell was coming from the drain in the bathroom. A wheelchair accessible room for non wheelchair users is not done: toilet too high, sink too low and you have to shower in an empty room without shower walls which is very cold and unpleasant. You do not give an inaccessible room to a wheelchair user, so you do not give an accessible room to a non-wheelchair user. We booked a room here 10 months before our actual stay, so it can't have been fully booked anyway so they gave us that room on surplus. The towels are washed grey and as a small towel footmats are used. Breakfast could only be taken until 9.30am. At 8:30 a Customer walked away with all the eggs and sausages to eat them in his room. The buffet was no longer replenished. An hour before the end of breakfast, that's not done either. For 107 euros per night this was an unpleasant experience. When you book an Ibis, you don't expect much, but still a certain standard that should be present in every Ibis. But apparently France is out of that? The hotels in Belgium and Germany are much better for similar price. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The hotel is also in an unpleasant location: commercial zone / industrial zone, far from the city center. On the Accor website itself, this score is 4.5/5 which is totally incorrect and on this platform here this hotel only scores 3.6/5.

Do not discriminate the quality of the hotel because of a poor collaborator.

Regular of the hotels "Accor" I was particularly surprised by the Welcoming of the person in charge of the reception of customers; smile absent, words spoken with cold....voluntary forgetting to transmit us the drink voucher (except for strong alcohols) that is offered to us with the All Accor card. The claim of this voucher was given to me with reluctance and accompanied by the refusal of the conso to which I was entitled. After insistence on my part, I won the case. In the morning when paying the hotel rating the drinks were charged; I smiled about it, while telling my misadventure to the person at the till who was none other than the manager of the Ibis. Astonished and anxious to correct the error of the employee the day before, the drinks were deducted. I must stress that the Mood from morning to breakfast was quite different with the guests some of whom were regulars and where the friendliness was in order. What a change with the day before! For the 15% discount voucher distributed by the hotel for meals taken at the restaurant next door , it was necessary to claim them since not offered. Apart from the disappointment caused by the person the day before I can only praise the quality of the room, comfortable and clean, and the quality of the Welcoming staff of the breakfast (perfect) as well as the manager

Very medium

The room smelled of the closed, probably a bad smell coming from the pipes. Really rotten mattress. Noisy corridor upstairs, we could hear everyone passing by in the corridor.
Usually we sleep at the campanile that's right next door but we thought we'd try something else. Bad idea!

Very decue

Welcomed with a minimum of information forgetting the benefits in neighboring restaurants , the cleaning was not done every day and stayed 5 nights, unemptied garbage cans the beds never redone. And increased rates on the we without being notified.
