Beautiful site

Beautiful, clean campsite. Quiet and great play area for kids. Didn’t see the owner stop working all day. Pitch was a decent size for motor home.

The worst camping site we ever encountered this year and actually every year

Thuis camp site is managed by a couple of twenties who do not care about the people camping on their site. There is litter all over the place, the toilet paper is out by the end of the day, there is a lot of noice until 2 to 3 am in the morning, and there is a lot and noisy construction activity going on. What disturbed us the most was the total ignorance of the so-called managers who did not care at all about hygiene, silence, and caring about guests.

Campsite located on the banks of the Seine, very quiet.The very helpful young man gave us a location on the banks of the magnificent Seine, many batteaux pass every day which is pleasant.really great location, natural and relaxing setting.

Great campsite in an oasis of peace

What a great campsite!
After busy working days in the Netherlands during Ascension Day, we booked 4 days at this campsite.
Here you can completely disconnect from the hustle and bustle.
What a silence... what a beauty to stand on the Seine with the beautiful greenery as a view! Every now and then a boat passes by
A warm welcome, even outside the stated opening hours.
Completely new sanitary facilities! Good showers...without coins.
Beautiful cycling and walking area.
The bakery and epicerie in the village of Jumieges are also nearby.
We will definitely come back here!

week in Normandy

We rented the gîte “Le Blason” on the campsite, the cleaning had to be done very quickly because of spider webs everywhere, the window seals don't mention it (all black from humidity), when you came in there was a smell. septic tank inside which continued throughout the stay. Lack of crockery for a cottage of 6 people (1 frying pan, 2 saucepans, no cutting board, etc.). The vacuum cleaner does not vacuum (and the tube is not compatible with the vacuum cleaner), an ironing board but no iron. Fixing a curtain upstairs no longer holds (torn from the wall).
And the worst part, this gîte is adjacent to a year-round rental rented by very noisy people, making noise at more than 2 a.m. (we warned the manager but to no avail). We therefore shortened our stay but received no compensation from the campsite.
For your information, we rented this gîte 2 years ago and the odor problem was already there as well as the fixing of the curtain. We thought that in 2 years these details would have been resolved.
In conclusion: significant lack of monitoring in this accommodation and therefore to be avoided.
