We would definitely come back!
Erick is a wonderful host who ensures good mood and energy. The old house and the beautifully situated garden are lovingly restored and maintained with plenty of space for the community. Guests can easily get into conversation, but also have enough peace for themselves. Breakfast is individual and freshly prepared. Hiking.Tips are available on site. Definitely recommended!

Solo, couple, friends, family, it does it!
***A very nice experience spent in guest rooms “Chez Jeanmyvonne”***
Nestled in the valley very close to the town of LA BRESSE, with a view overlooking the mountains and the bottom of the valley, you immediately feel that you are going to have a pleasant stay :-)
As soon as you arrive, the host Erick welcomes you with a smile (and he's been giving it for 15 years!), puts you at ease, without fuss. A little tour from the owner and you feel like you're a guest of the family :-)
The spaces are spacious, my room was just as spacious (and well heated). Very clean, cozy, soft decor, charming, we are comfortable there.
Then comes the time for recommendations for a walk (Erick knows the area perfectly) as the choice is vast. Also very good advice for dining in the area.
At the end of the walk, you can take advantage of the SPA to relax and warm up in this cozy nest...
It's time for the night to settle down, it's so calm, the bedding (very large bed) is comfortable.
And breakfast then, it attracted me with the warm welcome in this room (formerly a bedroom if I remember correctly) transformed into a warmly decorated breakfast room. The quality of the local products offered and in quantity... rich is frankly superb, a treat this little croque monsieur (original and new as far as I am concerned).

It exudes authenticity, the healthy atmosphere that reigns there is touching, especially because Erick goes all out to spoil us.
I was touched by the many children's drawings (from passing customers) hanging on the wall in the corner, letting myself read them clearly shows how many of us have had a good stay here at Erick's (the name commercial refers to grandparents/parents)

Perfect for a relaxing holiday
Everything here is perfect for a quiet and relaxing holiday: the host is very friendly and helpful and speaks English well. The house is very personal with 5 rooms, has two large common rooms, a great property with lots of seating and a small babbling brook. There is also a jacuzzi, but we didn't use it. The breakfast is great with regional products. The location is quiet and offers many hiking and cycling routes nearby.

An address to recommend!!
My wife and I spent 7 nights in this guesthouse and we can only warmly recommend it to anyone looking for authenticity and calm.
So yes, as has been said in other comments, the guest room “Chez Jeanmyvonne” is very pretty, the rooms are very pleasantly decorated, the place is super quiet, the breakfast is fabulous with its ultra-premium products. fresh and local, but that's not all! “Chez Jeanmyvonne” is also a real human encounter! Erick, the host, has a sense of hospitality and received us with unrivaled generosity and a smile. He never stopped doing everything to make our stay as good as possible. Erick is a native of the country (this house was built by his great-grandparents!) and he therefore regularly suggested itineraries for the hikes we came to do.
I don’t know exactly when we will return to the Vosges, but it will definitely be at “Jeanmyvonne”!!

Wauw, A place to fall in love with!!
If you ever, no you must, visit the outstanding beauty of the Vosges, you will stay at Erick and Chloe's B&B and won't regret it! A warm welcome will embrace you and even their lovely 3 year old son Basil, will come and say hello. And you might get a chance to meet the most friendly and open Husky (dog) we ever encounted. Chloe will serve you a 5 star breakfast and tell you (all in perfect English) what to do, where to go an visit. Coming home from a most likely challenging sports day or still overwhelmed by the outstanding beautiful country side, Erick has prepared you a 5 star diner. Using all fresh and local ingredients. So don't make the mistake to go out for dinner!!
