Great experience in La Bresse, beautiful pool, good restaurant, good breakfast as well. Friendly staff

Disappointing
Aging establishment and above all not having air conditioning, given the weather this summer it is unbearable! Especially considering the prices charged

4 stars rather than 3
When you arrive at the hotel you go Wow! the magnificent reception, the bar area, the restaurant. But when you take the stairs to go up to the room, meh!!! Carpet and handrails that have seen better days. Dead flies on the shelves. The rooms are clean but need a little refreshing and especially air conditioning!!! Because sleeping with the window open to the street with the neighbors across the way partying
Breakfast at 19€ is a bit expensive for scrambled eggs from a bag and industrial pastries. The pool looks more like a municipal pool with children jumping from all sides and splashing you!!
However, very friendly staff.

Bad experience
Nothing to complain about. Except at the pool and in the jacuzzi. While the latter is forbidden to children under 12 and I was talking about it with the receptionist because 2 days ago it was more a paddling pool for small children than a jacuzzi for adults, The receptionist told me that the manager had been putting a holo because “it is not a municipal swimming pool but a 4 star hotel” (says the director), so we had to inform the reception if it happened again without hesitation because after all people are there to rest, IN QUIET.
Let the children scream at the pool, pass again but here tonight, when we were 3 ladies in the jacuzzi, we were literally kicked out by a family with 6 children from 2 to 8 years old (with armbands) because they wanted to make a jacuzzi "with family".
While we informed the reception (as we were asked) a gentleman arrived telling them that the Jacuzzi was reserved for people over 12 years old and as the family told him that it was not the first time they did this, the gentleman left leaving them all in the Jacuzzi with some people who bathed in their clothes of the day .
What is the point of putting up a sign, what is the point of asking us to inform them if the management accepts everything.
Again this is a 4 star hotel. These people paid but so did we. We have the right to enjoy the services and in peace. All they had to do was bring their little family camping or to the municipal pool.
I am still at the hotel for a few days. If it happens again tomorrow, I will refuse to leave my place and I think I will not leave it at that. Is there someone higher up above the management on site? I'll test...

Très contente
Very nice, helpful staff who are eager to assist. It’s very convenient if you book the ski pass and equipment in advance, so everything is ready on arrival and you don’t have to wait in line. The rooms are a bit older than expected, but they are clean and cosy. The swimming pool is huge, which is perfect. The sauna and steam room could be a bit bigger. Diner and breakfast is lovely and plenty. Very child friendly. An overall very positive experience :)
