housing in June 2025

Great location, nice room, the staff is charming. We were courtyard side, and it was quiet. The very convenient shuttle to the BATHS.
We took half board, it was too much and too many dishes in sauce.
We'll come back in 2026 but without the pension.

Very very very LOUD

Very very very very LOUD
In front of a building where we do not know who lives in it!!!!! A lot of dogs screaming all day, it's unbearable.
People sitting on the benches down between the two buildings talking all the time: it resonates.
The interior is no soundproofing , people are stretched out talking in the corridor of 7 a.m. For a resting place it is very complicated. Thermal baths very well but I will look for another accommodation for next year

studio number 3 equals nightmare, and the Welcoming staff not up to it, and indifferent..

I did a spa cure in Lamalou les Bains, and stayed at BOIS De LON, in February 2025, in studio number 3 belonging to the Chaine Thermal du Soleil studio rated 3 stars! I am not talking about care but housing; I am 71 years old and health problems and I lived 3 weeks in hell and came back traumatized, but I now find the courage to let know; the tiny apartment had been occupied before winter closure and left so; the obsolete room is little compared to the state of the room and kitchen. The bed had been used: dirty sheets , hair, corners of the bed base repulsive of darkness, abundant waste under the bed; The horrible kitchen: the oven was absolutely decaying and probably very dangerous for health if I had turned it on. The hood cover was crumbling above the hob, so the food. The table in the sitting area, which is used to do everything, was amputated by an extension cord that fell off, so very little room available; My son who had taken me to want to call the available number (in case of emergency) to have it noticed but no one answered! it was not late but it was dark. He wanted me to go to the hotel but I stayed there because very tired, and I spent the night on an armchair. Worst of all was the daily presence of Mice, Black Spiders and various small insects; I return to the kitchen because in the drawers and in the cupboard under the sink, poop of mice in quantity, but also near the night table. In the morning , the care and the first week passed between complaints and the passages of the cleaning agents, although I was not taken seriously; a deratizer came but obviously without result, there are holes everywhere; the oven was replaced three times, the door was detached , in short I think this apartment could have been pulled from a horror or comical movie!; the people who came claiming to clean or repair were not in bad faith but they were doing with the very limited means at their disposal, it is shameful; Not once an official came to see what I said, although close to the Welcoming, so I spent 3 weeks protecting my food and some dishes in a cooler and fridge;
On my return I wrote a letter to the director of the thermal chain of Lamalou, explaining this traumatic experience, two pages, and I offered him to visit his accommodation seriously, this gentleman who has never moved replied that he can not give favorable response to my request! He has an answer to everything; it is absolutely unworthy and humiliating, the photos taken testify to the state of the housing. A positive in this chao: the heating of the studio and the proximity of the doctors and the thermal center. I paid 1157 euros for 21 days rubbing shoulders with dirt , mice, without using the kitchen and morally it is a very bad experience; where is the benefit of this cure??

To be forgotten forever!

CH 109 / a nightmare! dark room without ever sun, located at the back of the building, on the 1st floor facing another building.Decor totally old and poorly maintained( years75/80). Hardly enough to circulate around the bed. The wooden patio doors opening onto the balcony, without shutters offered no security of closure...the oldest person of the reception, very unpleasant from the beginning.All to see in short! We remain marked by this very bad and DEAR experience!

Bugs

Bedbugs infest the first room, tenants are changed rooms which spreads the problem. The interior of the rooms is all wooden slats where the critters can nest and proliferate. To leave immediately so as not to come back worse than we arrived.
