Very good stay in a beautiful house

Very warm welcome from everyone
Beautiful location on the banks of the Loire
Characterful establishment
Room decorated with great taste
Very appreciated air conditioning
Large windows and private terrace
Only downside: the breakfast area is very small and not very "practical".

A castle but not for sleeping.

You think you are sleeping in a castle, but you are actually accommodated, even upgraded, in a building next door like an Ibis.
Despite the lack of a view, the room is comfortable.
The reception is correct, but no one is able to inform you about the places to visit and especially how to get there.

Bonjour Cathyc,
Je pense que vous devez vous tromper d’Hôtel, car il n’y a pas de Château à Les3Lieux.
Il y a une maison construite fin du 19ème par un notaire et une partie historique, dans laquelle vous étiez ; c’ était une ancienne usine de cordages construite en 1930, puis reprise après-guerre en 1946 par une usine de hameçons pour la pêche ! Les chambres sont décorées sur 5 thèmes différents ; 4 sur les métiers d’arts et 1 sur le thème des Bateliers en référence à la Loire et donc ; chaque chambre est personnalisée en décoration et différente en surface. Tout en respectant le travail et la qualité de nos confrères de la marque Ibis (en prenant en considération qu’il y a plusieurs types d’Ibis), notre établissement s’apparente plus à un « boutique hôtel », qu’à un hôtel de chaîne.
Vous aviez réservé et payé une chambre Business (sans vue Loire) avec un lit en 140 cm et une surface de 17 m², vous avez été doublement surclassés dans une chambre Exécutive avec un lit en 180 x 220, une surface de 25m² et une machine expresso à disposition avec une vue partielle sur la Loire et vue sur le jardin.
Je ne sais pas à qui vous vous êtes adressés pour les informations touristiques... si c’est à la personne du petit déjeuner ou des étages : elle n’a pas vocation à vous communiquer ce type d’information. Par contre, si vous avez posé la question à une personne de la réception je doute fort que vous n’ayez pas eu de réponse. Et en dernier recours sur ce sujet, vous avez un très grand présentoir à la réception, avec tous les prospectus des lieux et sites à visiter dans la Région. Pour ce qui est de la manière de s’y rentre, aujourd’hui (en 2026) rien n’est mieux que l’utilisation de Waze (en raccourci sur notre site) qui vous indiquera le trajet, en plus en temps réel, travaux à éviter, etc …
En bref, très surpris par votre commentaire, alors que nous avions mis tout en œuvre pour que votre séjour se passe bien.

Good stop near Angers

Surprising hotel with a bourgeois building surrounded by industrial buildings, completely renovated into a hotel (former hook and rope factory taken over by the city and managed by a couple of professionals).
Prefer a small but very comfortable room (bed is fine) in the main building and by the Loire for the view. Closed parking.
Very good bistronomic restaurant (extra rare veal sweetbreads)
Friendly and welcoming staff.
Prices are not excessive.

A bicycle storage room is available on-site free of charge, subject to availability. Bicycle charging is possible at an additional cost of €2.50 per charge. The property has private parking, available upon reservation and at an additional cost of €10 per day. Two electric car charging stations are installed there, and the cost of charging is €25. Free public parking is available near the hotel.
