A delightful B&B in a beautiful village

The property is right on the banks of the river and our room overlooked the river and village which is extremely pretty. Annick was a wonderful host who made us feel very welcome despite our poor French. The room was spacious, clean and charming and the breakfast large and of great quality. Add to this a very reasonable price and it is impossible to criticise this romantic little gem!

Delightful and friendly

Delightful little B&B, it was everything we expected. The owner was extremely friendly. Although my French is horrible, she spent time chatting and getting to know us. Showed a real interest in where we were from, and our visit to France so far.Water and Juice were freely available form the fridge. Room was simple, but clean and had a nice view of the town and river. Decorating is what one would expect in a quaint B&B. Yes there were some angels around, but we were here for the local environment and charm of this village, not for fancy decorations.
Breakfast on the veranda in the morning was really lovely. Simple, but homemade preserves and plenty of juice, coffee and croissants.
The roads to this town are potentially terrifying, unless you can coach your GPS to avoid the "quickest" route, and instead choose roads more removed from goat paths. Honestly this is part of the charm of this place, but I mention only to ensure you are careful, and don't try getting here in the dark. Skip dinner at the Cascade down the road. No possibility of gourmet food in the area, just go for something simple and close for dinner.
Good find in a unique and off-the-track little village.

A wonderful Bed & Breakfast

Annick and Christophe have four spacious rooms, all with good views of the River Loue and parts of the hillside village of Lods. The rooms are adjacent to a spacious lounge and dining area. We received a friendly welcome, a comfortable room and delicious breakfast (including home made confitures). Our hosts were eager to please and join in conversation, despite our limited French. The village is attractive and not spoiled by pressures of tourism, situated in a narrow, wooded valley, rich in industrial heritage (the fast flowing river had serviced a number of mills) and accessible to many footpaths.

A great welcome to a lovely village

Annick and Christophe are gracious hosts who run a beautiful bed and breakfast. Their hospitality and warmth ensured us of a pleasant stay in the charming village of Lods. Our room was a delight as it overlooked the river and the village on the other side. It was comfortable and well-equipped. Breakfast was just as it should be, with fresh fruit and bread. We could not have asked for more.

Très belle bâtisse

Gilbert nous a reçu chaleureusement !!chambres confortables sur une vue exceptionnelle de la Loue!!on se sent tout de suite chez soit!le petit déjeuner copieux avec confitures artisanales ,fromage,yaourt croissants et la découverte d’un avocat des Seychelles !!nous avons prit l’apéro au jardin avec Gilbert ,beau partage!!a recommander
