Unusual, surprising, and comfortable hotel!

Great welcome. Surprising and eclectic decor.
A smiling and welcoming staff. We did not see the owner, but the owner's son shared a lot with us about his passion for antique objects, a retro atmosphere, and a well-organized flea market space, inherited from his father's passion...
It's a bit like a joyful chaos of flea markets, with attention to detail made of ads, old signs, Solex bicycles, or small cars... a magnificent Honda 750 Four motorcycle on display... An old gas pump...
Trinkets... clocks... Unusual objects, even in the stairs leading up to the rooms...
...Time suspended...charm interwoven with colors from the past within a modernity that allows for comfort.
The spacious, comfortable, and clean room features original frescoes on the wall telling the story of their life and that of Lyon, along with a great fan if needed for the heat.
And a top-notch breakfast in the morning! Very reasonable value for money.
Between the Saône and Rhône rivers and within walking distance, very close to old Lyon...
Very close to everything, in fact! Because where we were, everything was very beautiful, even the St. Nizier church across from the hotel...
Not far from the quays and the more unusual cobblestone neighborhoods, with Rue Mercière and all its restaurants in the middle.

Ok rooms, old hotel but in no way up to today’s standard. No WiFi and no Aircondition. Ok location centrally and close to the old town

A gem next to the Saint Nizier church

Ideally located in the center of the peninsula, this boutique hotel stands out for its very original yet functional decor.
Very attentive and impeccable service.

Still as good hotel.

I come every year to spend a few nights in Lyon and I always sleep in this small hotel of 14 rooms. Perfect location in the center of the peninsula. All rooms are decorated differently with heathered objects everywhere. Of course you have to climb a very steep staircase to access the rooms but considering the historical coast of this hotel I do not see how they could install an elevator. The beds are comfortable, the hotel is quiet, the rooms are clean. In small negative I find the breakfast a little "Light" for the price of 11 Euros. There is only one croissant, no fresh baguette (I live abroad and I love bread from France, so it’s a shame not to put a simple baguette on the counter). The coffee is unlimited and very good. A big thank you to “Janelle” who always keeps calm, is always smiling (the clogged toilets in room 11) and professional.

Gem of a hotel with lots of personality

The hotel is right in the centre of Lyon. The man who greeted us at reception/bar was very nice and helpful.
The decor of the hotel is unique with a vintage/retro look. The rooms and hotel itself was very clean and tidy. The view of the church outside the window was stunning.
If youre in Lyon I recommend staying here
