Basic hotel with a large room close to the beach

We are a family of 4 and we had one of the larger apartment-type rooms - there was a LOT of space which was enjoyed by all. The kitchen was basic and had what we needed to reheat a meal or enjoy a simple breakfast. There was a filtered water machine in the lobby which was great - it also had carbonated water. The towels were OK. We were on the back side of the hotel and it was quiet and calm even though we were on the ground floor. The street was not busy. It was close to the beach and had easy access to the bus system. It was about 1 mile away from any grocery stores so if you needed supplies you either have to walk or go on a short bus ride. The hotel itself looks older and is somewhat run down. The lobby staff was very helpful.

Not great, very expensive for the service and the condition of the place.

A room for 1 night at €251.40, plus breakfast at €12.95 per person.
We expected better....
Dilapidated building, all the metalwork rusted, a terrace with a poor quality plastic garden set, the balcony ceilings cracked, paint peeling off.
A bathroom that has never been renovated, a bathroom cabinet dating back, I think, to the opening of the hotel, with a very damaged countertop and shelves, no glass in the bathroom....., bathtub without safety features...
In short... I won't say more... considering the price for the night, €251.40 after all!!!
It is worth €50 a night, no more.
The staff is friendly, fortunately.
And the breakfast is acceptable.

well placed but deserves renovation

The hotel is very well placed: 25 minutes walk from the Velodrome and 5 minutes from the beach, in a quiet street. Breakfast is qualitative (quite a lot of organic products) and the staff very friendly. At the disposal of good dishes in jars at the reception that can be heated in its kitchen as well as a fountain with sparkling or flat water. On the other hand the hotel requires a serious paint job (only the front facing the street has been redone) and the rooms a good refreshment. The cleaning of the rooms is a bit borderline too (soil not clean). But the real problem comes from the parking: we had booked one but as we arrived a little late (17:30), it was no longer available!! With the game in the evening and the marathon the next day, a real struggle to park

The rooms are decent as well as breakfast the pool not bad ideally placed next to the bus stops to get to the velodrome on the other hand when you arrive looks like Beirut the facade exploded. it's a shame because with the facade it would be nice

Friendly and convenient

Apartment was well equipped but maybe a little tired. Stairs to loft bedroom were steep and narrow. One of the power sockets was not working.
Staff were very helpful, secure underground parking available. A few minutes from the seafront and cafes and restaurants.
20 minute walk to the Orange Velodrome.
