A piece of you

I've just returned, pda a weekend a little off season in Martignargues. It's not the first time, it won't be the last.
The Maison du Passage is one of those places that remain imprinted in your eyes and leave you with memories that dwell for a long time in your mind and even your nostrils (the scent you find every time you enter there is unforgettable).
There is everything, but just everything you could want in a place out of your everyday world, if that is what you are looking for: the place, the welcome, the attention to every detail of the places, the gestures, the words by Hervé and François.
But the Maison du Passage is something more, more even than Francois's cuisine that you find every night or the never-trivial exchanges of ideas that you can have with the two of them or with the other guests (yes, it happens to easily familiarize yourself with those who share those moments with you).
That something more is the real gift. And it's always different. And that's what you take with you every time you leave that unique place. The knowledge that you were part of it for a while.

From the cozy scent of the house, which envelops you as soon as you arrive, to the attentions of Hervé and François, everything at La Maison du Passage is natural, authentic, effortless.
The kitchen also follows the same spirit: sincere, precise, never complicated. Products worked with respect, dishes that taste like home but with that extra touch that makes them special.
It's one of those places where you immediately feel good, like you're expected. Where every detail is treated with delicacy, without ever being built.
You go there once... and you immediately want to come back.

A gem in southern France

This is one of the top destination in France if you are seeking to relax in an off the beaten track secluded charming restored medieval village. Herve and Francois are ideal hosts who will make you feel at home while respecting your privacy. Their "maison d'hote' is luxurious and provides every comfort and elegance. We stayed in the "Comme un paradis perdu suite" which has its own private jacuzzi outdoors. The linen and bedding are luxurious and in fact we plan to buy the same brand of bedding. The hosts are very generous with their advice. They offer a sophisticated wine cellar and the food served is all homemade, gourmet and locally sourced. This is a superb location from which to explore the Cevennes and Provence areas while also being a peaceful haven in a longer tour of France. No wonder they have been selected to be on the Michelin list in 2024.

Romantic luxury

Francois and Herve have a fantastic place with the most luxurious rooms you could wish for. In addition, they are very sweet good hosts who both make you feel completely at home and give you the privacy that comes with a romantic place like this!

Un séjour qui ne devait durer qu'une nuit se prolonge sur 4 jours... on pourrait en faire un film.

A special holiday in Provence

We spent a wonderful time at "La maison du petit prince". François and Hervé are excellent hosts with a lot of sense of coziness. The food was very good and varied. We would definitely come back.
