Excellent stay.

Very good stay at this Ibis hotel in Menton, which is ideally located. Our air-conditioned room was impeccable and had a small terrace with a view of the port!
Indeed, parking is quite difficult; you must park on the street or in nearby parking lots, which are free during the low season and therefore paid during the high summer season.
This hotel is really well located; we were able to walk to the beach. In the evening, we strolled through the beautiful city of Menton without taking the car again. True comfort!
Incredible buffet breakfast: breads, pastries, drinks, fresh fruit salad; truly perfect!
If we return to this region, there is no doubt that we will gladly return to this hotel!

Never again

The receptionist'general manger' doesn't speak any English or Italian and is extremely rude and unprofessional.Terribly short-staffed. There was a horrible sewer smell in our room (613) from the time we arrived until the time we left. I mentioned it to the staff and without telling us, during breakfast, they went into the room (with a 'do not disturb sign' on the door) sprayed a lot of deodorant and then came back told us there was no smell... She told me there were problems with smells in other rooms but not room 613 ... Their lack of professionalism was unbelievable. We had booked for 4 nights but left immediately after breakfast the following morning. Fortunately we managed to find much better hotel with great staff and services nearby. If there had been anyone at reception on our arrival after entering the room we would have left immediately. They told us room 613 was "one of the recently renovated REBOOST rooms, maintained in line with Accor brand standards". Their standards are obviously very very poor then... So disappointed - expected so much more from an international hotel chain. It was a room for 3 people but when you pulled down the single bed that actually came out of the wall there was absolutely nowhere whatsoever even to put a backpack - let alone a suitcase or two. You'll find much much better , with much better services and staff at an even better price in Menton. Don't be fooled by the photos on their website. Never again....

Small Rooms, Big Hospitality

* Nice, clean, and modern rooms.
* We were pleasantly upgraded to a room with a beautiful port view.
* Friendly and helpful staff throughout our stay.
* Convenient self check-in facility.
* Complimentary croissants were a nice touch.
* Rooms are extremely small, so space can be an issue for families.
* The bunk bed was perfect for our 5-year-old child.
About a 7–8 minute walk from the nearest train station, which may be slightly inconvenient if you’re travelling with heavy luggage or young children.
Overall: A great budget hotel with excellent service and a lovely port view. Ideal for short stays, but be prepared for compact rooms.

Great Location and Hotel

What a great find! We stayed for the night after a day in Monaco at the F1. The site of the hotel is perfect as it is on the sea front. We parked directly opposite at the Marina which cost €19 for 24 hours. There is no height limit.
The hotel is clean, modern and tidy. We stayed in a room with a big bed and large shower on the 6th floor. It was lovely and quiet and comfortable for us. Just what we needed after being in the road. The staff were very helpful and responded to a couple of emails for assistance prior to our arrival. The hotel does have a small carpark hut it is very tight and there is a low barrier, just use the marina opposite.
This hotel was perfect for us, cheap night in a perfect location. We had take away pizzas in the evening from the nearby restaurant which were great!!!
What’s not to like.

Great experience at the Ibis Budget Hotel in Menton.

The hotel perfectly matched the descriptions and images; I expected nothing more. Ours was a room for 3 guests with two connecting areas: comfortable beds, very quiet hotel, rich breakfast always restocked by the staff, there is a very good savory section and the sweet section also offers quality products. I really appreciated the fruit cut into pieces, peeled slice by slice. No parking problems even outside; we checked in independently because we arrived after midnight, and it took us 2 minutes to take possession of the room. Very good cleanliness, basic hotel with an excellent quality-price ratio that I recommend without reservations.
