Beautiful stay.

Stage for two evenings organized by our son.
Very warm welcome, the house is superb and the Alpage suite is very comfortable.
Breakfast with homemade by our host "brioches and breads" jams and local cheese, a wonder.
The Jacuzzi is very enjoyable after a day of hiking in the Ubaye Valley
The hosts are very welcoming and a great desire to come back wins us.

Restful

Stage of an evening with friends for a motorcycle outing. The jacuzzi is very nice after a day on the road. The place is quiet and even if there is no garage for motorbikes we leave them outside without problem.
The house is splendid and the rooms very clean and comfortable. If you can, take the table d'hôte for the evening because the dinner and breakfast were perfect.
The hosts are very welcoming and were a pleasure to share their table.

A truly charming guest room in the mountains!

A very good address nestled in a small valley and overlooked by peaks of around 3000 m.
Very beautiful building with numerous relaxation areas, spacious and very comfortable rooms, very quiet and decorated with great taste. Exceptional view of the mountains.
And the cherry on the cake: a really tasty and varied breakfast, made up of local and homemade products!
Very pleasant and discreet welcome at the same time.

Charming, romantic guesthouse

We very much enjoyed our stay here. We arrived on bikes, starving, while they were closed, yet the owner of the property managed to throw together a delicious picnic for us to enjoy in the garden. The surrounding area is all fields and horse pastures. Very remote. They do not have a restaurant, yet they continued to provide food for us for dinner as well, also taken in the garden. The room was beautifully decorated in antique pieces, overlooking the gardens, they had lovely toiletries and a very comfortable bed and linens. It was a class act all the way. Elisabet, the owner, is a delightful woman, full of fun and eager to please.

A taste of heaven!

So many brilliant surprises here! Firstly, we had forgotten that we'd booked a suite, so the tastefully decorated space, view of the valley and lit-up church tower and enormous, luxury bed were extra special!
The welcome from Elisabeth was warm and generous, especially as we were very early; she was cheerful and knowledgeable even after a late night of dancing at the village fete!
Breakfast was delicious and plentiful and the breakfast room very nicely decorated in keeping with the rest of the house and the area.
We had been cautious about leaving Southern Provence for our travels as we had been visitors to, and lovers of, the area for several years. Now, however, our horizons have stretched and we will be back to explore the area further. The mountains are beautiful and the walks varied. When we return we will be fitter so that the mountains don't defeat us as they did this week!
Thank you to the hosts and to the area for helping us fall in love with the place!
