One of the best Formule 1 hotels we've stayed in.

This Formule 1 hotel, whilst on the same lines as all the others, stands out by its peaceful location, next to the canal. After a long journey, it was lovely to be able to walk along the path by the side of the canal with the dog to wind down. The hotel was clean and well looked after. The bedding in the rooms was immaculate and the matresses very comfortable. We regularly use Formule 1 as they are excellent value and dog friendly, but this is probably the best we've stayed at. We didn't have time to explore Saverne, but would like to return as it looked an interesting, characterful town.

Horrible

I dont understand how this peoplego to this hotel.The worst experience i had in a hotel.No air conditioner,the bed is like sleeping in a prison bed,the window is without curtains,no privacy.On top of this i had to pay 3 euro for a towel.i would not recommend it.

Very bad

My husband and his colleague were traveling for work to book a hotel room, my husband forgot on the bed of the room, a big brand watch when we call them, they say they found no watch and that he must have forgotten it. Other than in the bedroom. for me some employees are dishonest on top of that my husband When he arrived in the room, the bed was not even made. The room was dirty.

An easy, convenient, affordable no frills place to sleep

It's a no-frills place to get a night of sleep. Want to get some shut-eye without pulling over the side of the road or a parking lot? That what HotelF1s are for! You don't come here for the room service or the quality of the rooms. It's for people on the move while crossing country driving. A place to sleep, go to the bathroom and take a shower. Nothing more.
My friend and I were driving from the Netherlands to Switzerland and needed to stop around midnight before continuing on the next day. This was the best, cheapest way to get some sleep.
So we booked and checked in online before leaving. Arrived at midnight and got our passcode to enter the building and our room from an automated machine outside. Easy! Just had to type in my name and reservation code. Went straight to bed, took a shower the next morning and we were on our way again.
No frills. No extras.
You get what you pay for and since you don't pay much you shouldn't expect to get much more than the bare minimum.
And sometimes that is just what you need.
The room was clean, bathrooms were clean enough.
Would recommend for those looking for a cheap place to get some sleep while traveling long distances.
You just can't beat the price...

Pit stop

Although very cheap room did smell of smoking despite signs saying this was not allowed, bed at least was clean. Many F1 hotels in France have bad locations but this one has a nice restaurant bar, cross the railway track then 100 m on the left( evening meal last orders seems early)
