Haven of peace
Spent 2 nights in the building "grand hotel". Very spacious quiet room.
Decent breakfast, and dinner at the bistro as well.
Staff with little care.
One + the shuttle that picks you up at the casino facing the lake to take you back to the hotel.

Pretty hotel. Good value for price but needs improvement.
with room for improvement. Given the price, our stay was “ok”. Sold 3 star hotel, definitely not 4 star. As guests, the restaurant could not accomodate our family for lunch because of a conference. We have small children and it’s a remote location so this was very inconvenient. Breakfast buffet food offerings were nearly empty one morning with no service member in site. Dinner was very good but given the limited menu we did not want to return more than one night. A better attempt should be made to control the flies and bugs as they were pretty unbearable both inside and outside.
Pool: no service attendants were ever present by the pool and it was not possible to have drinks or food there. There was one warm bottle of water with dirty cups in the outdated and poorly kept fitness area where many machines were broken. This should really be improved.
Overall the hotel was under staffed during our stay and we always had to seek someone to help us. Bathroom amenities need improvement (no hair dryer or wash cloths in the Prime apartment Suite). Lovely setting. With more effort, staff training and renovation this could be a really nice boutique experience. Need to make more effort to accomodate families and prioritize guests vs special events. We were able to enjoy the offerings of the sister properties and access town quite easily.

Weekend in Evian
For those who like the charm of the old without technological progress..
Friendly and helpful staff.
No fridge in the room and no magnifying mirror in the bathroom.
The restaurant is average.
With a good renovation, this place would be ideal.

Spacious, old, charming
Limited options at breakfast and meals in general. No in-room fridge. WiFi did not work well. Weak water pressure in the bathroom. Room key and elevator were both outdated.

A breakfast without more, in a dark room devoid of charm.
I do not recommend and wonder how this property got 4 stars????
