We had to book last minute and were happy with the rooms and the location was central to wonderful shopping and close to the beach. The staff was great! We left a bag of clothes inadvertently and connected them to help get them to us in the States. They were very responsive and helpful in that process. I’d stay again.

Our stay started off great but quickly took a turn. The shower door in our room was not completely sealed so water leaked anytime we showered. There was also a leak underneath the floor in the bathroom which ended up leaking all the way underneath our suitcases to the other side of the wall. When you stepped on the tile floor in the bathroom after a shower you could hear the water squishing underneath. You could also see the black mold on the tiles and the molding around the bathroom door was coming apart from the floor which revealed more black mold. Overall the room flooded 5 times (every time the shower was run) and we also lost power randomly twice, which was extremely inconvenient as we were working remote. When we told the staff they were nice but there just was no sense of urgency and we were told we would not be able to move rooms until the last day, which at that point made no sense. The location of the hotel was fantastic but unless the maintenance on the rooms improves I would not stay here again. If you have an autoimmune condition (which the 2nd guest in my room did) I would not stay here as the mold is very dangerous. Really bummed out about how this turned out because Nice is beautiful and the hotel location really is great.

nice hotel with good location and decent rooms.
However they had construction going on every morning which was disturbing and was not mentioned to us.

Excellent front desk service!

We had a wonderful experience at The Deck Hotel in Nice, thanks especially to Dan and Saloua. They were incredibly professional, friendly, and helpful from the very first moment.
We arrived with a large group, yet everyone was checked in and guided to their rooms extremely quickly and efficiently. Whenever we had a question about our room, the issue was solved immediately and always with a smile.
Saloua also gave us excellent restaurant recommendations, which made our stay in Nice even more enjoyable.
Because of this fantastic experience, we highly recommend everyone to stay at this hotel.
Thank you so much, Saloua and Dan — well done! You truly made our stay special.

Highly recommend

Spent three nights here in The Deck Hotel. It was very central and a great location to restaurants, shops, trains, and the main square and promenade. We had an amazing time. Highly recommend the staff, they were so friendly and helpful. Rooms were clean and comfortable. You will find the breakfast rooms on split levels with great choices. Something for everyone. I would highly recommend The Deck Hotel and we will definitely be back. Great value for money. We were given a little parting gift from the staff also which was very thoughtful. All in all, our trip to Nice was very successful.
