Beautiful hotels Nîmes
Very good hotel in the center of Nîmes.
Beautiful building, rooms in very good condition, clean, with good air conditioning.
Calm environment, I had an excellent night!
Different from standard hotels, it’s charming with a good quality/price ratio.

Fascinating 17th-century palazzo for a great price!
We have stayed in enough Best Western hotels in Europe now that we have joined their rewards program. Rather than being cookie cutter hotels, we have found many fascinating, unique historic properties.
This was the actual palazzo where my ancestors met with, and likely spent nights with le Marquis de Baume!
Our room was spacious, and the front desk was quickly responsive when we thought a light fixture was broken. They cheerfully offered to move us, but we decided to stay to enjoy the nice bathtub. And then we accidentally discovered how to turn the light on.
The front desk girl (sorry, forgot her name) was sweet and helpful.
The dining and breakfast rooms were outstandingly beautiful historic spaces.
It's the most beautiful staircase I've ever seen!
The elevator and A/C were also greatly appreciated.
The only drawback was parking. A common problem in European cities. My husband was told that the lot was just at the end of the street, but he said it was actually a mile away, so I don't know if he just missed the intended parking lot, so perhaps a little map to hand out would be helpful.

Great place to stay…all our friends swooned over photos of the ancient stone staircase (like something out if Harry Potter), and the history of the building. Staff really helpful. Breakfast excellent. OK there’s no restaurant for lunch or dinner, but lots of places close by. Highly recommended.

the hotel is unique - an ancienne marie - and interestlingly restored. Situated on a tiny little street it was quite noisy early morning bit I had the window open. Room nicely configured with a great shower. I didn’t eat or used the bar but they looked goodd

Hotel Marquis de la Baume is a charming small hotel in a very beautiful 17th century building. I loved it. It’s in a good location, the staff are really nice, and it’s not at all expensive. Stay there just to walk down the beautiful late reminiscence staircase…
