Nothing to say, it was perfect

Nothing to say, it was incredible. I am so happy with my stay, which was also a surprise for my girlfriend's birthday

Issue is that judgment is not clear, little si and la without yin and yang

We arrive, for 2 nights, at a spacious car park with 4 charging points (at least 1 of which is out of service and a second case of doubt).
The lady at the reception is very friendly and helpful, we also get a charge card immediately.
The room we were assigned, on the second floor, had a very sharp unpleasant smell. When we want to open the sliding window (to terrace) to ventilate, we can only do so in a few cm: "the terrace is not accessible due to dangerously derelict condition". This hotel is clearly in need of renewal, which is also visible in other places.
Without problem we get another and larger room, no balcony but fully opening windows and privacy by a tree.
We stay at the hotel for dinner, a menu we liked, with a very nice wine which we will definitely buy for home.
Breakfast we could have in the garden terrace. The choice is sufficient for 2 days, for those who want to make them eggs à la minute.
We would like to use the wellness, included in our price (apparently only 1 hour). One has to make a reservation for that: immediately upon opening, so at 10 am, because we still want to see something of Nantes and its surroundings.
Apart from a small swimming pool (which we can get into earlier), the accommodation is certainly fine: good hot hamman, pretty good sauna (not very hot and we can't pour), there is 1 shower cabin to cool off, but that is small and not really k old and has no leg sprinkler, there is no bucket but crushed ice.
There is also a large bath with all kinds of water jets with varia intensity: delicious.
The salt chamber is not really to your liking (and renovation works are underway here, as seen by the glue clamps).
There is a clock and it shows that our hour is over, really too short. We could 2 x hamman and 1 x sauna with some rest in between. I recommend providing at least 2 hours.
There is, however, a salon and terrace to enjoy tea, water or coffee.
Overall conclusion: recommended for the wellness (we did not try the massages, there is a wide menu for that), correct in the food and good bed; for the somewhat rundown interiors we turn our noses up ...

Cold hotel and awful restaurant.

We arrived at the hotel and was greeted by a very unsmiling receptionist and some very dead plants! Not a good start. The room was cold but we went for dinner and presumed it would warm up. It didn't and we later went and complained and was told that they had forgotten to turn it on for our arrival. The bathroom was very grim, see photos and was cold because the system that fed the radiator had not been working for two weeks so we were told the net morning. As for dinner, after seeing the state of the disgusting carpet on the stairs down to the restaurant, we should have known it was not going to be a good experience but we stupidly carried on. We chose a table and it turned out to be not very warm so when the waited came to take our order we asked to move, which we did and then he walked off and didn't talk our order for another 10 minutes despite the restaurant being quiet. The first course came and was fine, we had to ask for bread. Then came the main course (with no cutlery which I again had to ask for). It was cold so we sent them both back and they brought our exactly the same food we had sent back. It was now over cooked and very unappetising and still not particularly hot so we gave up and said we did not want it. The manager came and apologised and said they would cook us fish food and we said they should have done that when we sent it back the first time. We refused his offer and he offered us a drink in the bar upstairs which we accepted and had with a bag of crisps out of our vehicle! The waited in the restaurant clearly has a problem with English even though I spoke to him in French. We complained the next morning and they had a lovely woman on reception who did apologise profusely and did not charge us for the food the previous night. The only saving grace in the whole debacle was Boris, the deputy manager (I think) and the lovely woman on reception the next morning. Never again.

Meh!!

Clean hotel, but dated, located away from the city, which we liked, but it is better to have a vehicle. The spa is a real plus and the entire establishment is very well maintained.
On the other hand, we were disappointed not to be able to use the room's terrace, which was inaccessible because it was damaged. The outdoor areas were infested with wasps, which made it impossible to have a drink or eat there. It's a shame, especially when you choose a hotel for this type of space. The breakfast was simple, lacking variety.
Despite this point, we had a pleasant stay.

A nice gift.

We had the pleasure of receiving an evening, two hours of relaxing spa, and brunch as a gift. A lovely moment as a couple.
Only downside, the consideration of "gluten-free" or lactose-free (but perhaps by mentioning it beforehand?)
