A great place to stay close to the Louvre

I stayed at Le Pradey for a 5 night trip to Paris at the end of August. Really an excellent hotel. Very clean and comfortable. It was in a safe area of Paris and we felt completely comfortable walking around late at night. The staff was great and the location is excellent. Right off the Louvre with plenty of cafes within easy walking distance. The tourist busses are about 15 minutes away as well as the RERA train to Disney. Also lots of nice stores close by if you like shopping. A couple of thoughts:
1) Go for the slightly upgraded room not the smallest. The extra space is worth it.
2) There is a grocery store right around the corner for snacks and stuff if you want it.
3) The breakfast is nice and convenient but I personally walked over to the several very nice cafes and ate there. Nothing wrong with the hotel breakfast just a personal preference. You will probably spend more in the cafe but not too much more.
The only negative I have is the bathtub/shower. If you have limited mobility it is basically impossible to use. Even my very healthy wife needed help getting out of it without falling. The combination of the height of the tub and the way the glass doors close make it really challenging. Since it is a boutique hotel I imagine it depends on the room you get so I you should double check if it is a concern.
To close on a more positive note I would definitely stay there again!

The type of room we chose to stay is spacious, and having the toilet and bathroom separated was highly practical. The hotel's location is very convenient, and many attractions are within walking distance. Although the hotel breakfast did not have a wide variety of food, the quality was excellent. Waitress at the restaurant was very nice and help.

It's a very convenient location near the Louvre with several good restaurants within walking distance. The staff was very helpful and the room was spacious and clean. I would highly recommend this hotel.

Staff was lovely, breakfast way good. Room was clean by quite tired and could benefit from some maintenance, paint touchups, etc. Room was quite small. Location was great.

Hotel was convenient to touring Paris. Easy metro access, easy walk to the Louvre,Tulerries garden and plenty of dining and shopping. If you are a walker, you could walk to Notre Dame and Eiffel Tower. The hotel staff was great. Friendly, spoke English, helped with transportation. Breakfast very good. Room was great , but they do have a variety size rooms. Ours was fine for me, but my wife thought it was a little small. I would definitely stay there again.
