Metro is just a few steps around the corner.
Very friendly and warm welcome at check in.
Very clean room with separate bathroom and toilet!
With the renovation they kept some old accents like the old cage elevator, just wonderful…

Simple and practical but soulless!
The room, recently renovated, is clean but quite impersonal. No character. I see no difference with an Ibis hotel.
The furniture is standard (looks like IKEA) and the bedding is good.
The soundproofing between room is thin and better not to come across a neighbor sleeping late or noisy Breakfast is any and it is better to take it in a brewery.
The staff is polite but not smiling and not welcoming.
I would not recommend for a long stay. For one night it is good ...

Notre emplacement stratégique dans le 16ème arrondissement constitue effectivement l'un de nos atouts majeurs, permettant à nos hôtes d'accéder facilement aux sites sportifs emblématiques de Paris.
Nous regrettons toutefois votre description de notre établissement et de nos chambres. Si celles-ci ont été volontairement rénovées dans un style sobre et contemporain afin de privilégier confort et fonctionnalité, leur mobilier est de qualité professionnelle, loin de l'image standardisée que vous évoquez.
L’âme de notre maison réside aussi dans son héritage : la réception en boiseries d’époque et notre ascenseur vintage, véritable témoin du charme architectural du bâtiment, sont des aspects charmants régulièrement cités par les voyageurs.
Quant au petit-déjeuner, il se compose d’un riche buffet varié : mini-viennoiseries, charcuteries, fromages, œufs brouillés et durs, yaourts, salades de fruits, cakes, jus et boissons chaudes. Nous aurions sincèrement aimé savoir ce qui, selon vous, aurait pu l’enrichir davantage.
Nous acceptons avec humilité que notre hôtel ne peut peut-être pas plaire à tous, mais nous ne pouvons pas rester indifférents face à des comparaisons malvenues. L'Hôtel Murat est avant tout un lieu de partage chaleureux, alliant intimité et convivialité, ayant pour seule prétention de garantir des nuits douillettes à nos hôtes.

The experience is NOT worth the trip
Very small room, one double but with only a suitcase rest, really small bathroom, no ventilation or vacuum cleaner and very cold.
The only applause for the cleaning. Room redone and cleaned every morning and daily towel change

We were surprised to read your comment, especially since you yourself point out how much Parisian hotels differ from those in other cities or destinations.
Located in the heart of the 16th arrondissement, our hotel blends in with the architecture and spirit of the capital. It combines modern comfort with authentic charm, with constant attention paid to the impeccable maintenance of its spaces.
Housed in a typically Parisian building, it offers rooms that are in line with the city's standards. The size of the rooms, their layout and their facilities are clearly presented at the time of booking and illustrated with accurate images, so that everyone can make an informed choice.
Staying in Paris means accepting its codes, character and sometimes certain constraints. We regret that this reality has taken precedence over the attention and care that our teams strive to offer our travellers every day.

Disappointed by the non-consideration of the customer
Following a hotel booking error I booked this hotel thinking I was in Murat (auvergne)!!
I contacted the hotel the day of booking. I explained the situation, asking for the possibility to change the date for another day. Not possible, the owner to refuse completely. He didn't do that because of my mistake. The boss doesn't care about the customer. Which is a shame. What is sure there is no customer orientation!! Fortunately not all hoteliers are in this image. For this error I lost 100€! without consideration of this hotelier.

Vous avez en effet réservé une chambre dans notre hôtel parisien en pensant séjourner… en Auvergne. Et comme je vous l’ai expliqué lors de votre appel de dernière minute, nos conditions générales de vente, clairement indiquées lors de la réservation, ne permettent ni modification ni remboursement le jour même. Ces règles ne sont ni arbitraires ni personnelles : elles garantissent une gestion sereine de l’hôtel et une équité pour l’ensemble de nos hôtes.
Les propos que vous tenez sont particulièrement blessants alors que mon équipe et moi-même consacrons notre quotidien à accueillir au mieux tous ceux qui franchissent nos portes. Je regrette que votre erreur vous ait conduit à tenir des propos aussi virulents, mais je tiens à rétablir la réalité des faits.
Si un jour vos projets vous mènent véritablement à Paris, je vous accueillerai avec plaisir pour vous faire découvrir l’hospitalité et la qualité de nos prestations que vous n’avez, cette fois-ci, pas eu l’occasion d’expérimenter.
