A Hidden Gem in the Heart of Saint-Germain
I stayed three nights at Pavillon Faubourg Saint-Germain and it was an exceptional experience from beginning to end. The hotel feels like a private Parisian residence - intimate, elegant, and perfectly curated down to the smallest detail.
The rooms are beautifully designed, refined yet warm, with a sense of calm that is rare in such a central location. The atmosphere throughout the hotel reflects true Saint-Germain spirit: discreet luxury, culture, and authenticity.
What impressed me most was the consistency of the service. Every single team member I encountered - reception, concierge, housekeeping - was genuinely kind, professional, and attentive. Not one weak point.
If you appreciate understated luxury and a hotel with soul rather than spectacle, this is the place. I absolutely recommend it and will most definitely return.

Can do better
Located both near rue du Bac, with its flood of tourism, but quite off-center from it in a quiet street; the restaurant Le Parisien located in the heart of the Pavillon Faubourg Saint-Germain hotel is a Michelin-starred restaurant. The welcome was very kind. We asked for a table away from the front door during this winter period. Our wish was granted.
In addition, I advise you to book. Indeed, the restaurant will very quickly prove to be complete for the lunch service..We opt for the menu in three stages: starter-dish-dessert. They brought us bread (very good and fresh with butter). Then we started with beet hummus, rice chips. Perfect success of beetroot and chickpea. Then, we tasted the sea bream marinated with ginger, composed of fennel, bouillabaisse sauce that was prepared as it should be. Finally the very good cowbird chocolate pear came to end this lunch. Three things made me tick about the service: - the room clerk who throughout our meal; when I thanked him, kept saying “Of nothing” but also “With pleasure”.It is rather in a fast food or a brasserie that this type of formula is used not in a Michelin-starred restaurant. I think that when you frequent this type of restaurant, you can expect courtesy formulas like "Please." To highlight propriety is in my opinion a bedrock in this type of place. Also, at no time did the staff present us with the dishes: its composition etc. Finally, you should think about putting a tablecloth under the cutlery. I find it more in harmony with a Michelin-starred restaurant.

The Hotel Lounge, library, bar and restaurant are charming and tastefully designed. Unfortunately the rooms do not all meet the same standard, as only half of the hotel bedrooms have been renovated.

Mostly really good
This is a lovely redone hotel. Location is fabulous---the staff is EXCELLENT. the rooms are clean --my only complaint is lack of storage! Nightstands have no drawers or shelves. Bathroom only has small counter and rack on bottom where towels are. Closet had 2 drawers. I would say it's perfect IF they added some shelving--or drawers at nightstands or something. Bar is excellent. Breakfast is very good and staff is VERY helpful

A real gem in Saint Germain des Pres
We had a wonderful stay at Pavillon Faubourg Saint-Germain, a lovely hotel located on a quiet street in Saint-Germain-des-Prés, with an excellent restaurant and beautiful overall design and infrastructure. However, what truly stood out during our stay was the exceptional level of service.
From the moment we arrived, our family was welcomed with thoughtful special touches, including a teddy bear for our granddaughter, which made us feel genuinely cared for. The bed was extremely comfortable, and both the bathroom and closets were spacious and very well designed.
The breakfast was wonderful, with a great variety of offerings and attentive service every morning.
The concierge service was outstanding. We coordinated all of our dining reservations even before arriving in Paris, and everything was handled flawlessly.
Anything that was not exactly as expected was addressed and resolved immediately. The entire team has a true hospitality mindset and makes you feel like a very special guest throughout your stay.
A special thank you to Benjamin, the General Manager, who personally made sure we were happy and comfortable during our stay.
We will definitely return soon and highly recommend this hotel 100%. This is truly a genuine 5-star hotel experience in every sense.
