Disappointed with our breakfast
Tables not cleared, obvious lack of organization, staff eating their breakfast in the middle of the guests without really worrying about the buffet. And, the icing on the cake, a person arrived barefoot, with a large stuffed animal in their arms, directly into the kitchen, before leaving saying they were going back to bed…
We are not particularly demanding, but here, it is above all the lack of professionalism and hygiene that shocked us. A hotel is also an image and a minimum of respect for the guests.

Very big disappointment this Hotel whose check-in times are incorrect and there is no air conditioning or cooling.
When we arrived at 2 pm the hotel was still closed and there was a letter on the door that we could only check in from 4 pm while it was explicitly stated in the reservation "check in from 2 pm". After telephone contact with one of the employees, we were told that we had to come back only 2 hours later. Booking.com had not changed the website, according to them.
The period we arrived there was a heat wave and on the day in question 42°. We drove 2 hours around Poitier (with the air conditioning on).
It was still dark at 4 pm and the door was not opened until 4:10 pm.
It was very hot in the hotel at the reception and the rooms so too. There was no air conditioning or fan.
The fact that there was no air conditioning, we overlooked and therefore excess.
When asked if we could cancel our bookings due to the circumstances, the answer was, NO, unless we got approval from Booking.com. We had booked there too.
We left at 4.30pm and booked 2 other rooms at a hotel on the other side of the road (with air conditioning and super friendly staff).
We have written an email to Booking.com. with our experience and the request for a refund due to the special circumstances.
It was answered neatly and they wanted to make an exception in this particular case. Booking.com indicated that we had to arrange this ourselves with Hotel Inn and indicated that Booking.com agreed.
Unfortunately, we have not received a response from Hotel Inn.
The trip to this hotel was for us a huge Hotel disappointment.

Comfortable room but lacking in amenities.
The rooms are clean and the bedding is comfortable.
On the other hand, the rooms are not air-conditioned, and we only have a small fan to try to cool off.
Bonus: there was no hot water in the room. The Director agreed to offer us breakfast.
