Much wrong here. Best avoided out of season.
There was nobody at reception on arrival, just a pile of keys with names on - “self service”! No idea where my room was, and when I found it (at 1730) it had not been heated and was cold: it took 2 hours to heat up.
Furnishing was minimalist and style-less, bizarrely with the shower in the bedroom. Its doors did not shut, so water went over the floor when showering. No light above the basin mirror. Uncomfortable pillows. Bedside light on one side only.
Wifi was free but patchy.
The dinner, in another plain and uninviting room, was good, with ample choice and good service, but at 2130 it was clearly time for staff to go to bed, as they started switching lights off around me when I had not finished.
Breakfast was self-service, basic but adequate. But it was clearly the time to mop the floor around me…
I shall not be returning. It may be better in the warmer months as there is outside seating in an inner courtyard, but this was all already closed up for the winter.

- correct menu without wine list
- breakfast( 12 euros) with an outdated coffee machine, and 2 chocolate breads and 2 croissants on Sunday morning on the display!
-as soon as there is an event (birthday, communion and others) you cannot sleep.

Atmosphere & good mood!

Very warm and friendly welcome from the boss, Alain. What dynamism and good humor!
Arriving shortly before the start of service for dinner, Alain puts us at ease offering to take our time, and serve us an aperitif on the terrace when we are ready. What delicate attention!
The accommodation is very good, very good value for money. Nothing wrong.
The beautifully appointed terrace allows you to appreciate the bucolic setting of part of the farm renovated by Alain.
A 27€ menu is offered with several choices of starters, dishes and desserts. All dishes are homemade. A treat! Very fresh, very hearty. We had the chance that night to attend an improvised concert of a British client. A stage is also installed in the restaurant. Alain does the show, it’s great! We did not expect to spend such a lively evening!
Very good breakfast: pastries, breads, baguette, eggs, cold cuts, cheese, fruit, jams, yogurt, cereals, cakes, etc...
Thank you, Alain! We will return to the North! We highly recommend this hotel!
