Amazing stay at Hotel Mariosa
The most amazing hotel in Corsica with gorgeous views, amenities, delicious food, and superb service. We received an upgrade to a suite with our own private pool and breathtaking views of the coastline. Thank you for an unforgettable stay!!!

Disappointing Experience with Cancellation Handling
We were extremely disappointed with our experience with Hotel Mariosa. Unfortunately, we had to cancel our stay due to an unexpected family medical emergency that prevented our entire party from traveling. We notified the hotel directly several weeks in advance, specifically so they would have ample time to rebook the room.
In their email response, the hotel acknowledged our situation, expressed sympathy, and advised us to proceed with cancellation, stating that we would incur a cancellation fee. Based on this communication, we reasonably expected a partial charge.
However, after canceling, we were charged the full amount of our stay. This came as a complete surprise and felt very misleading. At no point was it clearly communicated that we would be responsible for 100% of the booking, even with significant advance notice and extenuating circumstances.
Given that the hotel had weeks to rebook the room, we find this policy—and its lack of transparency—unfair and not customer-focused. During an already difficult time for our family, this added unnecessary stress and financial burden.
We do not feel the hotel acted in good faith or in our best interest, and we would caution others to carefully review cancellation terms before booking.

You had indeed booked a room via Booking.com and subsequently contacted us to cancel your booking.
In response, we informed you that we would apply Booking.com’s cancellation policy and that we would send you a cancellation invoice so that you could claim a refund from your credit card insurance, which we have done.
You imply that our cancellation policy is unclear, whereas the Booking.com website is very clear on this matter.
Your review will not damage our reputation; we invite you to read the reviews from guests who have stayed with us.

Perfect stay

We spent 4 nights in this hotel, and our stay was a true success. Everything was impeccable: the location, the tranquility, the comfort, and the quality of the services.
We want to highlight the kindness and professionalism of the entire staff, from the reception to the restaurant, including the housekeeping team. Everyone contributed to making our stay particularly pleasant with their attention, availability, and smiles.
The establishment is ideally located when one seeks calm and tranquility, while being a 10-minute drive from the center of Porto Vecchio.
One small negative point to note: the ventilation in the bathroom and toilet, which activates automatically with the light and can be noisy at night. However, this remains a detail in light of the overall quality of the stay.
In summary, we have only one desire: to return! We recommend this hotel without hesitation.

A postcard view at MARIOSA
We had the opportunity to spend a few days at the Mariosa hotel
It was a wonderful little vacation; we wholeheartedly recommend this charming establishment
Everyone, I mean everyone, was very kind; we had the chance to try the excellent restaurant, the room was very welcoming, fully equipped, and truly spotless, and last but not least, the postcard view.
The beach is equipped; the water is a bit dark but due to the color of the sand; in any case, the white beaches of Palombaggia are just 10 minutes by car...
We absolutely feel like recommending MARIOSA, and we will definitely find the opportunity to return as well.
