Mixed opinion

The location is quiet at night, the cleanliness of the rooms is flawless, and the staff very welcoming, but the experience is average,
Shower very small, air conditioning ( heating ) noisy for us , broken down with friends, 15 ° at night in the room.
Our room had a smell of back pipe coming from the sanitary, forced to leave the bathroom door tightly closed.
The breakfast room is also a little cramped.
We are not very demanding in this price range, but we were not satisfied.

Nous sommes toutefois sincèrement désolés que votre expérience globale n’ait pas été pleinement satisfaisante. Les points que vous évoquez concernant la taille de la douche, le bruit et le dysfonctionnement du système de climatisation/chauffage, la température ressentie ainsi que les odeurs dans la salle de bain ont retenu toute notre attention. Ces éléments ne reflètent pas le niveau de confort que nous souhaitons offrir, et nous allons renforcer nos contrôles techniques afin d’éviter ce type de désagrément à l’avenir.
Concernant la salle de petit-déjeuner, nous comprenons votre remarque et faisons notre possible pour optimiser l’espace et l’organisation aux heures d’affluence.
Nous regrettons de ne pas avoir été à la hauteur de vos attentes malgré un bon rapport qualité-prix, et espérons avoir l’occasion de vous accueillir de nouveau afin de reconnaître votre confiance et vous offrir une expérience plus satisfaisante.

Also good for a longer stay

Previously, I had only used the Kyriad Hotel near Rivesaltes for overnight stays on trips to the Iberian Peninsula. Based on my positive experiences, this time I booked the hotel for a 14-day holiday as a location to explore the Prepyrenees, the Cathar Castles, the Mediterranean coast at Perpinyà and the Côte Vermeille. The location of the hotel makes it ideal for this purpose, especially since you will not have to travel to the nearby town of Perpinyà.
The rooms and the toilet/shower are small but absolutely clean and sufficient for a solo traveler who wants to explore the region during the day, even for a longer stay. However, it could be tight for two. The breakfast (buffet) is typically French; the ingredients are fresh and also sufficient (... it doesn’t always have to be the “Ruhrgebiet-Frikadelle” for breakfast). The staff are absolutely friendly and helpful and speak English and sometimes even German. There is a private car park that is closed at night.
Although close to the highway and a distributor roundabout, you won't hear anything about the noise of the roads. In the neighbouring Italian restaurant Signorizza (also very good), however, there is a karaoke night on Fridays and a disco night on Saturdays. That's why you should make sure you get a room in the wing of the hotel that's remote from the restaurant when booking these two nights. I had (thank God) such a room and could therefore sleep in an open room even on those nights.
