Very good for us for this one-night break
Magnificent and very quiet setting. Very friendly welcome. The room is very pleasant with its terrace, quality bedding, and quality room service (The restaurant was closed when we arrived.). Pleasant and shaded pool.
Perfect breakfast with a selection that suited us perfectly.
Very beautiful decor in the room, the restaurant dining room, and the breakfast area.

Very disappointed with our visit this evening…
We came as a family to have a drink: not even a small peanut to snack on! And to simply get a second drink, we had to go to the front desk to ask for it…
And the icing on the cake: service in the dark, without lights, frankly not pleasant and not very welcoming. Too bad, because it wouldn't take much to make the moment really nice. But here… zero service, zero atmosphere!
We came as a family to have a drink: not even a small peanut to snack on! And to simply get a second drink, we had to go to the front desk to ask for it…

What a shame
The indifference of the staff was extraordinary. The room was nice but it was impossible to get any kind of room or bar service having been told that the restaurant was closed on our arrival.

Disappointing stay
In the room, several pieces of equipment were out of order: entrance light switch, one out of two lamps, bedside lamp, television. The finishes leave something to be desired, with a damaged wall that betrays the dilapidated state of the place. On the other hand, we appreciated the natural coolness of the room despite the single-pane windows, comfortable bedding, and a pleasant shower.
The real problem is the noise. Single-pane window, metal staircase right next door, ventilation system noisy continuously, thin walls that let everything through. Broken sleep, multiple wake-ups, we get up exhausted.
The breakfast was like the rest, disappointing.
The restaurant is worth stopping at, because it was borderline a rip-off. We pay over one hundred euros for two, we expect a great experience. Barely arrived at the hotel, we are told that the restaurant is full and that we won't be able to eat there for lack of a reservation. Surprising, considering there were only five tables occupied at most on-site. Not very business-minded and not exactly welcoming as a way of doing things, not to mention that the concept itself seems quite strange. Fortunately, we had indeed made a reservation, so we were able to eat at the restaurant. On-site, the waitress, neither pleasant nor unpleasant, forgot us once or twice, which is not up to the standard of the price paid. As for the food, the foie gras appetizer at fifteen euros was decent at best, far from what one can expect at that price. The dessert at sixteen euros, presented as if it came from a renowned pastry shop, could just as well have come from a good Picard, without being bad in terms of taste, but that doesn't fly at that price.
The establishment claims to be high-end, but that doesn't show in the details. In the room, the mini-fridge displays a QR code linking to the bar menu, made on Canva, without the price of the Mars bar I took from it. Yet it was the only thing to eat that I found before going to the restaurant, as the bar offered nothing for a little appetizer even though I was hungry. This bar, which looked really nice on the website, turned out to be tiny in person. Between that and the hotel as a whole, the establishment clearly sees itself as bigger than it is.
The decor is a personal choice, very busy for my taste, but that remains subjective and secondary.
We were not offered a shower before accessing the hot tub, which leaves a doubt about the cleanliness of the pool. The pool, for its part, is pleasant, with shade around it.
No welcome booklet to explain how the place works, including hours. You have to go get the information yourself, the staff does not provide it spontaneously, and some staff members encountered in the hallways barely respond to a hello.
The photos give a much more flattering image than the reality on site. I do not recommend it and I will not return.

Avoid at all costs
An absolutely appalling experience. We arrived at 4pm after a 4 hour drive to the hotel in the middle of nowhere. On arrival, we were told that the restaurant was fully booked and that they would not serve us any food, not just at that moment, but at any point during the evening while the restaurant was open.
And when I say nothing, I mean absolutely nothing. They categorically refused to serve us food for the entire evening, even outside where there were tables sitting completely empty. They also refused to let us eat in the bar and would not offer us room service. This was not a case of waiting for the restaurant to open or for a table to become available. They simply made it clear that they would not serve us a meal at any point that evening. Not the slightest attempt was made to find a solution or exercise even a minimum amount of common sense.
As a result, we had to get back in the car and drive to Lidl to buy something to eat, bearing in mind that we were travelling with our 21 month old baby and an 86 year old with Alzheimer’s. After four hours of driving and arriving at 4pm, having to get back in the car simply to find something to feed our child and ourselves was frankly unbelievable. An absolutely pathetic level of service.
As if that was not enough, at 8:30pm a member of staff knocked on our hotel room door and asked us to return one of the dog beds that had been put in our room (not at our request!), because apparently we had two and “didn’t need two”. They woke our sleeping 21 month old baby to do this. Yes, they genuinely knocked on the door of a family with a baby at 8:30pm to retrieve a dog bed because they had decided that we did not need two of them. That incident perfectly sums up the level of consideration and service at this hotel.
The upstairs rooms are absolute saunas with no air conditioning, so good luck trying to sleep when it is hot. The rooms are tatty and need renovation.
And to top it all off, breakfast does not even start until 8:30am which is bad for families with young children, and the breakfast spread was quite frankly embarrassing - the coffee machine didn’t even work!
Everything about this place gives the impression that the comfort and needs of its guests are an inconvenience that the staff would rather not have to deal with. The service is rigid, lazy and completely indifferent. Hospitality seems to be a concept entirely alien to them.
