Charm and fantastic views
Beautiful setting, charming accommodation and lovely pool.
The view is to die for and the calmness of the grounds are lovely. A real find and 10 mins from Cabris bars and restaurants if you want them. Secure gated area and a lovely French charm. Would definitely go back

Ideal for recharging
Pros: the panoramic view is sublime, the garden well maintained and the room very clean, well equipped. Very quiet, a real haven of peace.
Cons: the bin room with the bins dropped off by guests leaving the estate, bins that stay for hours outside the premises... not great.
Rooms a little old, back of the estate towards the tennis court abandoned...
The staff is not very nice, and frankly not smiling. That is a very regrettable point.

Cute place in nature

It is a huge house, surrounded by a huge garden/park. You feel in nature!
They have accommodation of various sizes.
The only thing my family did not really like is the cleanliness! They can do a little more about beds, sheets, blankets etc! Ha un’aria veramente vecchia!
Lo staff parla francese e inglese ! All in all it was nice!

Didn't live up to the hype
I hesitated to write this review, but decided to in the end, as I booked our trip on the strength of the reviews on here and I would have liked to have an up to date review of the property.
We stayed in Le Terrace at Domaine du Bois D'Amont in August this year (2022). First impressions weren't great, but things improved slightly.
The house is massive with a great terrace and a fabulous view. On the plus side, the beds were comfortable, the view was magnificent, the property managers tried hard to deal with our concerns when we raised them and the ping pong table was great fun.
However, the property and the estate generally are tired. The showers are tiny (so small that when you fetch shower gel your back accidentally switches off the shower) and don't drain well (mostly due to gunge in the plug that we tried to clear out...). The bathrooms are very old (as shown in the pictures to be fair) and feel like a trip back in time. There is no air con (as stated on the website), but there are also carpets in a couple of the bedrooms, no shutters on the windows to keep the sun out, and upvc windows to keep the heat in. With no bug screens on some of the windows (which for us meant we couldn't open them at night) the bedrooms were hotter than hell at night. Noisy, plug in fans offered a small amount of relief.
The swimming pool was in need of a refurb. Tiles were coming off and there was a persistent yellow stain around the edge of the pool (apparently caused by guests's suncream). The pool was often very cloudy, or full of cleaning granules that needed to be swept out, and it was always full of bugs. I had big plans to swim every day, but in the end, didn't really go in the pool as it was so unappealing. My kids swam most days, but were a bit squeamish about going in.
The tennis court is very old and needs a total refurb.
The promised bread delivery didn't exist because of Covid.
The Wifi didn't work across most of the estate because of a storm two months ago. Our property had a small dongle for its own wifi, but the wifi was so slow web pages would take an age to load. My husband needed to work and couldn't (to be fair, we didn't pre warn the owners we would need to do video calls) but even outside of work it meant phones etc were very slow to use.
The property is a three star property and is cheaper than most places in the area for the top summer months. This is reflected in the state of the property and the services on offer. The managers were kind and friendly and were trying hard, but, in my opinion, they need a significant investment in the property to keep it as an attractive holiday option.

On top of the world!
We recently stayed here with our 1 year old son for an 11 night stay and had a truly wonderful time. As has already been mentioned, words can't do justice to explain the truly breathtaking views. Waking up to this every morning, and watching the cities of Cannes, Antibes and Nice light up at night time, was truly magical. We sat on our balcony for hours, just admiring the views and taking it all in.
The location is a great base for exploring the Cote D'Azure. We loved driving back after a day out, as you felt like you were leaving everything behind and escaping to a little haven, sat high above everything else.
Our apartment was clean, spacious, had everything we needed in the kitchen, as well as lovely new fluffy white bath towels, and beach/pool towels. The bedding pillows were excellent too - big, soft, and super comfortable!
Val is a wonderful host, and went out of her way to ensure that we had everything we needed - from baby items, to advice on day trips, and extra touches to make sure our stay was as enjoyable as possible.
Thank you for a wonderful stay! We look forward to returning.
