Perfect stay in Hotel D Strasbourg - Thank you

Nous sommes particulièrement touchés par vos mots concernant la qualité du service de nos équipes. Savoir que l’accueil à la réception, le service des chambres ainsi que l’équipe du petit-déjeuner ont contribué à rendre votre séjour agréable est une très belle récompense pour nous. Votre mention de l’ambiance chaleureuse et familiale nous fait également très plaisir.
Nous sommes également ravis que vous ayez apprécié la décoration de l’hôtel, pensée avec soin pour allier confort contemporain et intégration harmonieuse dans l’environnement historique de Strasbourg.
Le calme de nos chambres ainsi que notre emplacement privilégié, à proximité des principaux sites touristiques tout en étant situé dans une rue paisible, sont en effet des points particulièrement appréciés par nos visiteurs.

Mixed feelings
We had booked the standard room and I’m not sure what other rooms were like in that category but we were on Level 5 which is one flight of stairs up from the lift. An attic bedroom although comfortable was a bit awkward for getting in to the bed on one side with a sloping roof. We are fit 70 year olds so didn’t mind the stairs but if you have a lot of luggage and not so fit I would avoid this floor if you can.
I also prefer to have a kettle in the room and not have to ask for one.
The gym was small but adequate.
Staff were reasonably friendly.
I think if you had a good room this hotel would be nice.

We are pleased to read that you enjoyed our location, within walking distance from the station and Strasbourg’s main attractions.
Regarding your room, we only have one standard room on the 5th floor. While many guests find this attic-style charming, we understand that the sloping ceiling can feel less practical depending on personal preferences.
As you stayed with us for three nights, it would have been very easy for us to offer you a different room and turn your “mixed feelings” into a truly enjoyable experience if we had been informed during your stay.
Please do not hesitate, during a future visit, to share this type of preference with our reception team, as we are always happy to accommodate such requests when possible.
For guests who wish, kettles are available upon request at reception, and our team is always happy to provide one.
We are glad that you found the gym adequate and we take note of your overall impressions. Our team remains constantly available on site to ensure our guests have the most comfortable stay possible.

La ringraziamo sinceramente per la splendida recensione dopo il suo soggiorno all’Hôtel D.
Siamo felici di leggere che ha vissuto un’esperienza così positiva con noi e che ha apprezzato la nostra posizione, a pochi minuti a piedi dal centro storico di Strasburgo. È un piacere sapere che il comfort della sua camera, la qualità della colazione e soprattutto la gentilezza e disponibilità del nostro personale alla reception abbiano contribuito a rendere il suo soggiorno piacevole, nonostante la barriera linguistica.
La sua raccomandazione significa molto per noi e speriamo davvero di avere il piacere di accoglierla nuovamente in futuro.
