A wonderful stay and a true gem in Strasbourg!

After a very disappointing experience at another hotel, Maison Rouge was such a pleasant surprise. I booked the same day, and the staff welcomed us with so much warmth and kindness, even showing us the rooms before we made our decision.
The hotel is beautiful, luxurious, exceptionally clean, and incredibly comfortable, with a perfect location right in the heart of Strasbourg. Everything about our stay was wonderful.
I will definitely make Maison Rouge my go-to hotel for all my future trips to Strasbourg. Highly recommended! ❤️

We had a nice stay

We loved this hotel. It is centrally located in Strasbourg making it possible to walk everywhere. A short taxi ride from the train station. Our room was on the smaller side but it was comfortable clean modern and functional with all the amenities one would expect of aMarriott property. Nice bathroom and decent bath products. The only thing I missing was an ironing board and iron so I could iron out some of the wrinkles in my clothes while traveling. The staff we encountered at reception were very helpful. We enjoyed our stay. We loved Strasbourg and the Alsace region.

Great local five star hotel with charm. The only thing I miss Puls say is that the gym was only good if you want to do cardio, but nothing for strength training. The Sauna and Steam room, jacuzzi was an additional cost of 25 Euros per person, which for 5 stars should be free and the Gym should be properly equipped.
Other than that it was a great experience. Do call for directions when you arrive by car, as GPS will quote you to a pedestrian zone.

The hotel is located right in the center in a strategic position. Very beautiful decor, spacious rooms, excellent cleanliness, and a very good breakfast, especially the croissants. More than 5 stars for the attention to detail (they left two small gifts in the baby's crib) and for the kindness and helpfulness of the staff, especially the concierge Flavio, who helped make our stay in the city much better thanks to his valuable advice on places to visit, experiences with a child, and restaurants to try.

Siamo lieti che la posizione centrale, le camere spaziose e la pulizia abbiano soddisfatto le sue aspettative; i piccoli omaggi per il bambino e la qualità della colazione, in particolare i croissant, sono pensati per rendere il soggiorno speciale. Okay but not up to Autograph standards

I have stayed at many Autograph hotels and this one did not meet the high end standards I book for.
1 - we arrived and had booked adjoining rooms but they oddly put us in non adjoining. After a wasted trip to the front desk, they easily gave us adjoining on the same floor - why wasn't this given or offered at check in???
2. Smell in one of the rooms that was never addressed and no one seemed to care … smelled like sewer
3. Breakfast - the buffet eggs were akin to a holiday inn, powdered and wet
Espresso/latte was undrinkable (extremely bitter and watery)
The made to order items were okay but nothing was really good - just not what I would expect at this level of a hotel
4. I asked for a late checkout and was told no problem but they deactivated our keys so I spent another wasted roundtrip to get that fixed (still wasn’t fixed!) with a broken elevator too
