Great place. Great recommendation for anyone who wants a slot stay at a really good price.

Chateau de Nazé is the most beautiful castle, super cozy and authentic. Great nice pool and nice rooms, perfectly suited to our family with 2 adults and a child of 8 years. The castle is located in a quiet environment on the countryside, but with only 10 minutes to the beautiful town of Saumur. Castles, caves and experiences for both large and small within 15-20 minutes by car. The host Sébastien is extremely friendly and welcoming and makes one feel at home. The stay is breakfast included and for only 146 euros per night per room. The best recommendations from here. We would very much like to return to Château de Nazé.

Sublime and soothing

The location is perfect, 5 minutes from downtown Saumur. The hosts are adorable, always there if we have any questions or needs. The rooms are spacious and tastefully decorated. The castle is beautiful and very well maintained, a real favorite. I recommend it to all people who wish to have a good time in a fairytale setting with friendly hosts

Unbelievable hidden gem!

An unbelievable hidden gem! I wanted to finish our French vacation with a bang on our long drive from the Alps to Cherbourg, and boy was this a bang.
Set in beautiful countryside, inside a tree lined driveway appears this amazing little Chateau, steeped in history.
The rooms are rustic and exactly as you would expect. Comfortable, spotlessly clean, great sleep accompanied with the charming creaky floors of a chateau. We had three rooms all at the front of the castle. The Duchess room even has the main balcony over the entry.
The castle is step back in time yet with all mod cons. Every corner is history and our host Sebastien was more than happy to give us a tour.
Sebastian is a natural 5 star hospitality host. He naturally asks what you need when he sees you and really made the stay unforgettable. That can't be learned its instinctive. Breakfast was like a royal buffet in the drawing room with Sebastien going above and beyond.
The grounds are amazing to explore, orchards, ancient trees, ponys and chickens clucking around and the brand new swimming pool kept our girls occupied for hours on end.
The castle is 5 min to a town with plenty of restaurants and supermarkets, and only 3.5 hrs to cherbourg it is the ideal rustic luxurious break before home.

Disappointment

I state that the structure, externally, is very particular and suggestive. To host, however, you must pay attention to cleanliness and provide for the maintenance of the rooms. In summary, there was dust everywhere, tub/shower not working well in addition to a breakfast to review widely. We did not try the pool because the morning after arrival we left changing structure. It is not recommended at this time.

An excellent night in a very comfortable castle and a quality welcome!

Very beautiful castle, close to the motorway (convenient), but without any noise in a pretty park where we saw deer in the morning.
We felt like guests, thanks to the welcome from Elwan and Adrien, extremely kind and efficient.
Large and very pleasant room. Perfect silence and breakfast (excellent) in a room with painted ceilings and a large fireplace.
It was raining so we didn't use the pool
