Anniversary
We celebrated our anniversary here, and it was truly wonderful. Special thanks to Lex and Ann from the lobby for accommodating us and ensuring we had a memorable experience. We also appreciate Dian and Daniel for assisting us at the gym and badminton court.
Our dinner at Le Stelle was fantastic, thanks to Kyle, David, and Chef Jared. Breakfast was equally enjoyable—many thanks to Joy and Rolli from Ridge Café for their great service.

Great Amenities, But Significant Maintenance and Cleanliness Issues
Staff: The team was friendly throughout our stay.
Facilities: The recreational facilities are excellent. The swimming pool is perfect for laps, and both the basketball court and the gym are well-maintained. I was particularly impressed with the gym—it is spacious, very clean, and well-equipped.
Dining: There is a good variety of food options available at the resort restaurants.
The Disappointing:
Baker J: It was disappointing that this café does not provide service or house water to paying customers. It feels unreasonable to deny guests water when they have already purchased food or drinks from the establishment.
Room Maintenance & Atmosphere (Room B3-1212): The room fell short of expectations, especially given the price of an overnight stay. The lighting was poor, which—combined with the dark furniture—made the room feel gloomy.
Cleanliness Issues: The bathroom was poorly maintained, and there were dark spots on the floors that looked like either neglected cleaning or permanent stains. The hallways were also unclean and stained.
Unprofessional Environment: The hallways near our room were cluttered with old, folded-up beds. It gave the area a neglected, hospital-like, and unsettling atmosphere.
Unpleasant Odor: Upon entering our room, we noticed a strange, off-putting scent. I strongly suggest the management reviews the cleaning agents or air fresheners being used to ensure a more welcoming environment.
Verdict: While the resort offers great amenities for activity and fitness, the lack of cleanliness and the unsettling atmosphere in the accommodations significantly impacted our stay. I hope management addresses these maintenance issues soon.

Good Service
I had a very wonderful experience at Timberland Highlands Resort, especially at Le Stelle. Although this was already my third time visiting the resort, it was my first time dining at Le Stelle, and I must say that the food was absolutely delicious.
The service was exceptional, and the staff were very attentive throughout our visit. Special thanks to Mr. Dender for taking such good care of us and making our dining experience even more enjoyable. His warm hospitality and excellent service truly made us feel welcome.
Kudos to the entire team! I will definitely be coming back and highly recommend this place to others. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

Constructive Feedback at Timberland
We would like to share our feedback regarding our recent stay at Timberland. This was actually our third time staying here with my family, which is why we were able to notice several changes compared to our previous visits.
First, we noticed that the pool cleanliness is no longer as well-maintained as before. While the pool is still usable, it somehow appears a bit dirty and not as clean as we expected. The second pool also seems to lack maintenance, especially the third pool below, which already looks neglected compared to before when it used to be properly maintained.
The landscaping near the pool area also seems unattended. There is already a lot of overgrown grass and wild plants, making the area look less maintained. Within the pool area itself, there were also many leaves scattered around. We completely understand that the area is windy and that leaves and flowers naturally fall from the trees, which is totally understandable for us. However, there were simply too many leaves to the point that it looked like the area had not been cleaned or swept for several days. Even the covered wooden structure near the second pool no longer appeared clean and properly maintained.
It would really help if there could be someone regularly assigned to maintain the cleanliness of the pool area.
Another observation is regarding the availability of tables near the pool. We ordered food and drinks at Le Stelle, but since all tables around the pool were occupied, the lifeguard advised the server to use the nearest available table at Le Stelle instead. Our poolside cabana did not have its own table, so we had no choice but to eat there. We hope more small tables can be added around the pool area so guests can have a place to put their drinks and snacks while swimming.
For dinner, we reserved at Ridge Café for 7:30 PM, but unfortunately, our food was only served around 8:30 PM. We understand that delays can happen, but waiting for an entire hour is quite difficult, especially when dining with seniors and children who were already very hungry. We only finished eating around 9:00 PM, which limited our time to enjoy the view and other amenities.
One of Timberland’s strongest highlights is really the viewing deck and its overlooking night view, which truly makes the place feel special compared to other hotels. However, we noticed that there are now very limited seats available there. Before, there were more chairs and seating areas where guests could relax and enjoy the view. During our stay, there were only two sofas available, making it difficult for guests to comfortably stay and enjoy the area. We hope the seating area can be improved and expanded again.
For breakfast, the food itself was good. However, since we wanted to sit at the al fresco balcony, we noticed that the table was extremely dusty, and we even had to wipe and arrange the tables ourselves just to accommodate our family.
We also observed that the staff seemed limited in number, which may be the reason why requests took quite a while to be attended to, especially with repeated follow-ups.
We also noticed that Baker J seemed understaffed, as it appeared that only one person was handling both orders and food preparation, which caused delays for guests waiting to order.
Overall, we are sharing these observations because we genuinely enjoyed our previous stays at Timberland, and we hope these concerns can be improved. We still believe that Timberland has great potential, especially because of its relaxing atmosphere and beautiful views. We hope these areas can be addressed so guests will continue coming back and recommending the hotel to others.

Great Service at Le Stelle – Thanks to Dender!
We had a nice dine-in experience at Le Stelle in Timberland Highlands Resort. Special thanks to Dender for his excellent customer service. He was very attentive and accommodating, which made our visit even better.
One small suggestion is the playground area. It only has a few toys and isn’t very well-ventilated, so it can get a bit warm for kids. Overall, still a nice place to dine and relax with family☺️
