Best hotel in Baguio!

My fiancé and I found this hotel last minute since we needed to move out of our original hotel because it was full of molds. Convenient location, comfy room, hot and cold shower, room rate with breakfast, accommodating staff. Definitely our hotel of choice the next time we visit Baguio. Worth the value. The atmosphere is a vibe like from that song “Saan” by Maki, but with a twist in the lyrics “sa karsada ng Baguio City”. Because you can also hang-out in their cafe overlooking session road if you’re feeling lazy to go out. I posted about this on my TikTok account. ‘Til next time!

Rooms has insects

We booked this hotel based on its 9-star rating on Booking.com and stayed for one night on 04/08/25 in a family room. Upon arrival, we immediately noticed that the room looked tired, with visible cracks on the walls. Still, we were initially happy as the room could accommodate five people.
Unfortunately, there were many insects in the room, so we went back to the reception. They showed us another room, but it also had insects. At that point, we asked for a refund as we didn’t feel the room was livable. The receptionist initially said they couldn’t help since we booked through a third-party site, which was frustrating. We felt they should’ve at least assisted us in contacting the third party, considering they’re in partnership with them.
Eventually, the receptionist called the manager, and thankfully, they gave us a free upgrade to one of their newer rooms. This room was much better and insect-free, which we appreciated. However, the TV and Wi-Fi didn’t work, the remote had mould between the buttons, and the shower had hair in it. We didn’t report these issues as we were checking out early and were just relieved to have a decent place to stay for our short trip to Baguio.
While I appreciate the staff for eventually helping us, I believe they need to be more proactive in offering solutions. It felt like I was the one trying to solve the problems, rather than them taking initiative. After all, it’s their hotel, and guests shouldn’t have to chase after support when things go wrong.

Best!

Best location. Very nice staff. Breakfast was fantastic. Walkable to most tourist spots. You can never go wrong with City Center Hotel. Rooms are clean and have the essentials. But it was really their staff’s hospitality that would make you feel at home. They constantly greet you and offer help in any way that they can. I will always go back to City Center Hotel.

We had an enjoyable and wonderful stay

Staff are nice and polite. All are approachable. Plus they have complimentary breakfast which is nice. The room is clean and just enough for what we need. Very budget friendly. Location is perfect! Close to Burnham and restos nearby since it is just along Session Rd. What I love about it is it is close to Victoria Bakery Mabini Branch. :)
