This is a nice chilled, get what you pay for hotel, no frills, but perfectly convenient for a stroll to the wharf for tours.

This hotel had a lot of bad reviews, but that was not my experience. There are two: Ludy 1 and Ludy 2. I stayed at Ludy 2. If you’re expecting a beach-front five star hotel, you will be disappointed.
This is a great little place typical of a Philippines hotel in the area. Flushing toilet, shower, sink, and a small room with a bed. WiFi worked great. Pool tables downstairs. And incredibly nice staff.
It was perfect for my needs and a 5-star rating for the hotel that is.

Expect that your stay reflects how much you’re paying or less, nothing fancy, the constructin on building 2 is not completely done do not expect extravagant, the food for breakfast was not the best either better to eat somewhere else. The towels are thin, there is no formal receiving area on Ludy’s 2. Not organized the aura/vibe is not welcoming. The owner was really,really nice, very accomodating, other than that there is nothing special in this place. It only looks good in the picture. Please improve your kitchen di ing area and your receiving, also make the toilet clean. Constructions are substandard quality.

It's a budget accomodation, room is very small

It's a budget accomodation, so room is very small. I was actually shocked when we arrived. I was a bit confused of the lobby as there were street children playing billiard at the ground floor -- and so that was the lobby.
The room is very small, the 4 walls fit the bed only. The aircon was very noisy, it's good we were transferred to another room when we asked.
The food cooked however is very good, and the owner was very accomodating when I requested to extend the check-out time, and she charged me only for a few hours, not the full day rate.

SECURITY IS A MUST

My experience at Ludy's Pension House 2 had its positives and negatives. The owners were accommodating and provided good service, such as offering a convenient pickup and an upgrade to a nicer room. The location was also convenient for tour activities.
However, my concern about security should be addressed. My fault that I leave extra cash in my bag and later discovered it missing (open area). Despite requesting CCTV footage, the response I've received was not satisfactory, as they claimed nothing was found after asking them for a week and did not provide a copy of the recording upon my request.
While the pension house has many positives, including comfort and convenience, the issue of security needs improvement. It's essential for businesses like Ludy's to prioritize the security of their guests' belongings, especially when incidents like theft occur. Hopefully, they can take my feedback constructively and enhance their security measures to provide a safer environment for future guests.
