Excellent staff, ideal family hotel

We flew in from London. Usually we travel around the Philippines visiting sons, daughters. This time, we stayed at Cris del Mar resort, for 30 days, and invited family to stay with us. The hotel is unique, with 8 deluxe rooms [for up to 4 persons plus hammock outside] around a pool for adults and another pool for kids. Budget rooms with only 1 bed rent for less (ask reception). A bar sells drinks and snacks. Breakfast is served in a dining area, guests can bring food and cook it themselves in the hotel kitchen. We found staff to be polite, helpful, FAR above average. Swimming pool is filtered daily, a lifeguard on duty at all times. Ideal hotel for large families. The ocean is nearby, walk over a wobbly pontoon bridge. Free kayaking, billiards, ping pong...boat trips to Giant Clams [2500 pesos 8 pax] includes goggles and life jackets. Occasionally the Zumba sessions by the sea are rather loud. Apart from the noise, we heartily recommend Cris del Mar, in Bolinao.

Cris Del Mar Hotel is highly recommended

The Cris Del Mar is highly recommended. It is an inexpensive and beautiful complex in the seaside town. The restaurant is good and all the staff at the hotel and restaurant are extremely friendly, mindful and helpful. I can only highly recommend the place and will come back.

The very nosiy resort

The very nosiy resort!!! Same menu for breakfast. They don’t follow there rules. They make the resort so crowded with a bunch of noisy kids. Dog barking wind blowing the windows. the park in front of the resort is very nosiy too. There’s a ghost making a hot water at 4am. Everytime I’m trying to close my eyes. All kind iod banging in our room to make you awake. And my sister room smell cigaret which they said nin smoking. And very nosiy too. Wifi is slow in that area. Btw I booked 3 rooms all of them are nosiy. We don’t have plan to comeback here.

A peach in a beach front place

A beach front place with a pool is a real deal. The place is really nice. Estimated 10-20mins walk from bus terminal, public market, etc. a really accessible place. The staff is really nice and accommodating. A peaceful place. They also have a restaurant whose food prices are cheap and reasonable.

-GREAT Location and great value
-ACCOMODATING STAFF
-CLOSE to public market
-POOR WIFI connection (there are times incorrect password, then sometimes you can connect for a minute then incorrect password again when you try to connect again)
-Breakfast NOT GOOD
