POOR SECURITY AND ZERO ACCOUNTABILITY
I visited the property for an appointment and, as required, left my UMID ID at the entrance in exchange for a visitor’s pass. Unfortunately, I forgot to claim it before leaving. Two days later, I realized my ID was still with them, so I immediately reached out to inform them that I would come back to retrieve it.
To my shock, they told me they didn’t have my ID. I even presented the visitor’s pass as proof that I never claimed it, yet they still insisted it wasn’t in their possession. I pushed for them to review their CCTV footage, and only then did they confirm that my ID had indeed NOT been returned to me. Despite this, the ID is now missing.
What’s worse is the sheer audacity of the security staff to shift the blame onto me, saying I should have claimed it right away as if that excuses their negligence. This is a private property, and safeguarding visitors’ IDs is their responsibility, especially considering data privacy concerns.
Not a single apology was given. Instead, they have been ignoring my calls and have made no effort to explain what happened or take accountability.
If they can’t even secure something as important as a valid ID, how can anyone trust their security at all?

The morning buffet was very poor in their selections,only watermelon,,a few sides.
Beautiful looking hotel inside and out,,,

Poor value for money, I don't recommend this hotel.
1) Room was clean and spacious, bed very comfortable
2) Staff friendly
3) parking free, although space was limited
The bad:
1) Upon check in, the receptionist required a 2000 pesos per night deposit and would only accept cash. So be sure you bring enough cash with you.
2) the free breakfast buffet was underwhelming; very few food options; flies in the buffet and dining area.
3) Poor communication: we weren't informed that the weekday free breakfast included in our booking will be located in the nearby cafe (Figaro coffee), and you better drink coffee otherwise you'll have to purchase your juice, milk or other drinks.
4) Our guest room was located on the 4th floor and we endured the party noise on the 5th floor (Grimaldi restobar). It quieted at midnight, but then we started hearing a slamming/clanking sound every 10 to 15 seconds throughout the night. The front desk said that the noise was from their water pump located on the top floor. Since they can't do anything about the noise, we requested to be moved to a different room. They offered us a downgraded accommodation (single bed room), saying that's the only room they have available, which was a flat out lie since the hotel was practically empty on Oct. 31! We had too much luggage and stuff with us so a smaller room would not work. Also, the shower head had no water coming out of it. We had been using the handheld shower which kept on falling form its holder. The hotel maintenance, fixed these issues the first night, but not really. Typically, hotels would give you an upgrade for the inconvenience, but not this one!
5) During our 3 night stay, we did not require any housekeeping service but we have asked for some towels to replace the used ones. Well, the front desk informed us later that they were gonna charge us 150 pesos for requesting the towels! That was just ridiculous and we refused to pay for that. They did not insist. In my 20 something years of staying in hotels, I have never paid for towel use!
Obviously, more bad than good. Very poor value for money. Won't stay here again.
