We paid nearly $600 per night, and unfortunately, the condition of the villa was nowhere near what I would expect at that price point. The floors were dirty, the room felt run-down and poorly maintained, and overall, the accommodations did not reflect a high-end property.
To make matters worse, we experienced a power outage, and the villa we were staying in did not have a functioning backup generator. We were left without electricity while the hotel figured out how to handle the situation. It took approximately one hour before we were finally moved to another room.
We were specifically told that we would be relocated to a comparable villa, but what we received was clearly a downgrade. The replacement accommodation had significantly less space, a smaller bed, and there was not even a television in the bedroom.
For a hotel charging nearly $600 per night and positioning itself as a high-quality property, this was simply unacceptable. I understand that power outages can happen, but the lack of proper backup power, the delay in relocating us, and then moving us to an inferior room made an already frustrating situation much worse.
Overall, this was a very disappointing stay and absolutely not the experience, quality, or service I expected for the price we paid. Unfortunately, based on this experience, I would not recommend this property.
