Recommend
Simple and quiet place, nickel welcome, breakfast with homemade products only. Rando obliged, it was served to us at 6:30 at our request instead of 7:30. The cottage is simple but I recommend!

Location and price/quality ratio
The Piton des Neiges room is clean, quiet and comfortable.
Welcoming is warm, breakfast excellent.
We could not enjoy the table d'hôtes due to the absence of the owner unfortunately.

Holiday home that meets our expectations
Our host prepares a very good meal and dines with us which is very rare we stayed there 2 nights.

Scandalous
The room is very very damp, does not lock (there is even a window with shutter but no window)
So we were very cold (about 8 to 10 degrees at night)
No heating in the room, we asked for a small additional electric heater that we were refused
Scandalous to rent to a family with young children in such conditions!!!

Je comprends votre déception mais je veux juste préciser que nous ne sommes pas une chambre d'hôtes mais un gîte de randonnées donc avec moins d'équipements
Effectivement nous n'avons pas pu vous donner un chauffage car nous n'en avons pas
Il aurait été plus préférable de vous renseigner avant de réserver et à ce moment on vous aurait dit que nous n'avons pas de chauffage à disposition, de ce fait vous auriez pu trouver un autre hébergement ce qui vous aurait évité ce désagrément.
