Navodari: between beautiful sunrises and many disappointments

A last minute, just to have a glimpse from the daily, otherwise I would have chosen differently. I spent a few days in Navodari, near Constanta. The experience was mixed, with positive and negative sides.
Pros: less crowded than nearby Mamaia; spectacular sunrises not to be missed.
Decent destination for those looking for some relaxation, without too many expectations.
Prices? It depends on the seats and you have to choose them carefully.
Cons: few places of interest other than the sea, except in nearby Constanta, the ancient Tomis, a city of Greek origin and then conquered by the Romans in the first century AD.
Sea full of seaweed and jellyfish; sand dirty with shells and stones where it is difficult to walk barefoot; on the beach, too much music during the day that takes away a possible and desired quiet.
Unfortunately and reluctantly I noticed the lack of attention to the environment. Separate collection does not exist and on the beach you will find every. Too bad they didn't understand the importance of this, despite the great expansion of buildings along the sea.
It can be a choice if for a short stay, where you can enjoy the sunrise and the magic of the sea, but I would not recommend it for long holidays. Not recommended for those looking for a place with nearby places of interest and clean environment.
It will take years for Romania to wake up from its slumber...
