great property in downtown Sinaia

This place was great ! It's located in a museum , right above it. We had a tiny room, with even tinier window , but was great for that price. They have a common living area with a kitchen . Staff was really friendly and helpful. Downside was they never asked if we need towels and sheets to be changed . Location is great, near to everything in Sinaia, close to the train too. Great place to relax !

I feel like a bat

If you think you'll be welcomed into a little castle... Forget it, at most you can go there for breakfast but it opens at 10.30.
Your space is the attic where they have created spartan bedrooms with little light but functional and a common area with a small equipped kitchen. Obviously you have to bring everything for breakfast from sugar to tea etc
If you have luggage larger than a pilot boat, don't come, you will be stuck on the stairs.

Sleep in a museum

This is an amazing experience, to sleep in a castle the same location with Sinaia city museum. In was an inspired idea to organize in the attic of the building a small an elegant hotel. The position of the castle in right in the central area of the city near the cable, and close to the main restaurants.
Rooms are clean, the living is fantastic, large space, only the bathrooms need some improvements.
I recommend the place for one or two days stay, but remember there is no breakfast organized inside, but you can bring with you some food, and can prepare a tea, there is a fridge, microwave and a nice place in living.

Small trip into the history of Sinaia

The museum is small but offees a nice overview on the history of the town. You can use izi.travel for a short guide in english if you want. Other than that you have a lot of information on the walls. The price is affordable, 15 lei for adults.

Muzeul Orasului Sinaia - nice place

this is actually a museum, of the city of Sinaia; and it's quite nice! you get to understand a bit more of the history, culture, people of the region, important personalities, but also of places that no longer exist. I recommend to go outside the terrace, go down and look at the villas presented on banners. some of the no longer exit, some are in a bad shape, but, it's still cool if you want to recreate the path later on and see these places. also, having coffee on the terrace is nice, if the weather allows it.
