Hotel is good but spa ruined the experience
This rating reflects the spa experience more than the hotel itself. If you are coming primarily for the spa, manage expectations.
This is a very peculiar hotel. It appears to be either completely newly built or fully renovated, which makes its unusual layout even more confusing.
The main entrance is on the opposite side of the parking lot, the spa is located in a separate building next door, and there are signs inside the hotel asking guests not to walk around in swimsuits—despite the fact that the spa itself does not have proper changing rooms.
When we arrived, we parked and followed the large “Entrance” sign, only to find the door locked. While we were trying to figure out where to go, a spa employee came outside and gave us directions. We eventually entered through the restaurant, which required about a 100-meter uphill walk, and then walked through the restaurant to reach reception.
Check-in itself was smooth. When we got to our room, we noticed that we were given two separate beds instead of one. This was quickly resolved, and the staff even moved us to a second-floor room to minimize noise, as there was a private party with music in the restaurant that evening. This was appreciated and handled professionally.
The Room (5/5)
The room was excellent. Everything felt brand new, clean, and well maintained. We had a balcony, a safe, TV, and a mini fridge (drinks were available for around 250 RSD). The mattress was comfortable, and overall the room exceeded expectations.
The only downside was the shower: there was no holder to mount the shower head higher up, and no rain shower. You have to hold the shower head the entire time, which was inconvenient.
The Food (4/5)
Breakfast was included in our stay and was quite good. We were on a specific regime, so we couldn’t try everything, but the selection was wide and varied. Fresh whole fruit was also available, which was a nice touch.
The Spa (2/5)
Spa access is included with the hotel stay, but reservations are strongly recommended. We reserved ahead of time, which turned out to be necessary.
Unfortunately, this was one of the worst spa experiences we’ve had.
First, the spa is not connected to the hotel, which means you have to walk outside in winter to reach it (an immediate minus). The spa itself is small, and even with reservations, we had to wait to use certain facilities. For example, the salt room only fits three people. There is a steam room (capacity of six), two decent saunas, and a small pool with pleasantly warm water.
There is no proper changing room—just a curtained area—which is unacceptable for a spa (minus one star). About half of the showers did not work, and there were no hooks near the showers to hang personal items (another minus).
We also booked massages. While the massage itself was good, the session started about five minutes late and ended a few minutes early, despite being booked for a full hour. Additionally, the prices charged did not match the prices displayed, which was disappointing and unprofessional.
