Spotless room, comfy, quiet! Great value stay!
Location among the best, walking distance to a few good places like Bugs and Sim Lim Square (if gadgets/electronics are your thing) and direct access to Metro and a few bus lines that'll take you everywhere you'd wanna go!

Bare minimum amenities and terrible staff
Staff is rude and unwilling to help
Example1 : the aircon wasn't cooling even after an hour of trying, so we gave reception a call to explain. Reluctantly, the reception lady in black suit came up only to say that she doesn't know much about the air cons and immediately started defending "you've just come from outside so you have to wait for ac to cool". We clarified that it's not the case and then she agreed to send someone to check the fault.
Example2 : Next we returned in the evening to find that housekeeping had not collected the dirty towels placed in the designated towel bin and had not replaced the towels. Again, when we called reception, they started defending themselves and saying "if you don't keep the towels in the bin then housekeeping will not collect". Again clarified that housekeeping has not done their job and we need 3 towels to share between the 4 of us and to kindly send. They said oh we only have 2 towels and come down to take it yourself.
Poorly provided amenities
Bare minimum amenities and does not cater to the number of guests : we booked the superior twin room to accommodate 2 adults and kids ages 4 and 9. And got two narrow twin beds to share between the 4 of us with just 3 pillows. Again when called to request, their first response is to avoid any requests or justify what's provided but we asked again so then reluctantly they came with another pillow. They sent us up with 1 room key for 2 adults, I had to request for an additional key and give justification for why I needed additional one, which was not provided immediately either.
Cleanliness questionable
Returned to see cockroaches traveling with us in the lift.
Lift not very safe
The lift actually closes on you and I had to pull my kid out who was trying to get out and the lift was closing on him.

The staff were so lovely, welcoming and helpful. The room was just what I needed, immaculately clean and with vital ac! Loved it.

Needs to upgrade bes and pillows.bed is so old and noisy spring. Bed unbalance frame. Staff are wonderful.

Will not return again experience
I stayed here two times already but will not return after this.
Firstly the room should be fixed with bidet. It is unhygienic to use the toilet without it when this item is now a normal amenities for all hotel and home.
Secondly, your lift should be installed with light sensor to avoid it slamming on guest body when we have yet to move out. This lift is a safety machine and basic light sensor ro open the door should be install and they are not costly. It makes the hotel feels cheap and should be given a 2 star instead of 3.
Thirdly, your housekeeping lady, Xiu Quong, was throwing her tantrum when she could not get the iron to stay on the bed and startled us with her behavior. We confronted her just before we check out just now, and she said she got upset when the iron would not stay on its position. Although she apologised, we find it mental to have someone getting upset with the iron that kept sliding down.
Overall, not a comfortable stay and will not return again. Rather go to Ibis opposite and try it out.
