Nice relaxing place to visit
Lovely way to spend a day relaxing by the pool. Great service and food outstanding.

Consider this a good accommodation option in terms of location, service, and the helpfulness of the staff.
It's clear that the hotel is highly preferred both for its staff and its location. The service and guidance were very friendly and satisfying. The only drawback was that the hot water pump broke down during our week's stay, and we couldn't shower; water was leaking from the pipe under the sink. We didn't make a big deal out of it for a one-day stay, but it might have been a problem for a longer stay. Apart from that, it would be a good accommodation option if more hygienic measures were taken.

Lovely, friendly, comfortable hotel
From the moment we arrived at Palmonte, we were utterly enchanted. The hotel is a hidden gem nestled amidst breathtaking scenery. The staff were incredibly welcoming and went above and beyond to ensure our stay was perfect. Our room was spacious, impeccably clean, and boasted stunning views. The luxurious amenities, including the plush robes and high-quality toiletries, added a touch of extra indulgence.
The spa was an oasis of tranquility. The treatments were divine, and the therapists were highly skilled and attentive. We also thoroughly enjoyed the pool area, which was beautifully maintained and offered a serene escape from the heat.
The food at the hotel restaurant was exceptional. The menu offered a delightful variety of dishes, all expertly prepared and beautifully presented. We particularly enjoyed the fresh, locally sourced ingredients.
We cannot recommend Palmonte Hotel & Spa highly enough. It is the perfect destination for a relaxing and rejuvenating getaway.

Nice pool area
We visited the spa a year ago and we wanted to visit it again so we decided to stay in the hotel as well.
First of all for the spa is the last time because the prices have doubled and more since last year.
The hotel room they gave us was next to the pool and as soon as we entered the first thing we noticed were the 100 mosquitoes all over the room and bath.
We told the guy who escorted us to our room and he said he would say it to his manager but he never came back.
We saw some already killed mosquitoes on the walls (from previous residents) so we took the courage to kill some if we wanted to sleep at night.
Other than that, the room is spacious, nicely decorated, with a small fridge, water for welcome, and good pressure spacious shower which I loved.
The pool area is beautiful and clean with lovely sun lounges and a dj playing nice tunes but the prices for food and drinks are on the higher side.
The nice extra touch was the 15 minute massage they gifted us when we checked in which was by the pool in a special area-cool touch!
The staff in general are very polite and try to do their best.
The breakfast was good with a good variety but the coffee and hot chocolate are rather disappointing.
We did not try lunch or dinner, we went to Royal moon near the hotel which we loved.
Overall I would be afraid to stay there again because of the mosquitoes.
If I knew that would not be a issue, I would like to stay in the hotel again.

Badly Needs Maintenance
This 3 year old hotel is already tired and in bad need of basic maintenance.
The rooms are very basic and we experienced broken beds in the main room, broken showers, mirrors and drainage and exposed electrical wiring in the bathroom. We changed rooms but the next room was similarly run down, but now with mosquitoes as on the ground floor. Take MOZZIE REPELLENTS
The walls/ceilings are thin with no acoustic cladding so you can hear the folk above/next door to you moving about and flushing the loo. TAKE EAR PLUGS
A long list of hotel rules is stuck on the wall and one is that the hotel doesn’t accept responsibility for anything stolen if it’s not kept in the safe, only there isn’t one in the room. You can take small items to reception for safe keeping, but not large items. DON’T TAKE VALUABLES
Situated on the main Kyrenia highway, at a roundabout, the traffic noise is constant but even this is drowned out by the power tools in use for the construction currently taking place. SEE EAR PLUGS
The pool looks lovely but uninviting as none of the beds are set up despite the temperature being 20C+. When we enquired we were told “summertime only”.
Whilst we were there a new bar room was under construction and the painter used an industrial paint spray gun to paint the structure and the overspray was settling on the pool surface leaving a white slick WHILST someone was in the pool. Surely this is basic h&s and the pool should have been closed off or the painter used a brush?
The ‘fast WiFi’ just isn’t.
There is WiFi in the main bar (30Mbs+) but outside of that and in the rooms, even though you get a strong WiFi signal the internet is usually down but when it I’d up it rarely reached 100Kbs (not fast enough for most things). When I asked them if there was a problem they told me a range of lies ranging from “it’s the wind” through “it’s bad over Cyprus”, but when I pointed out that it was fine in reception the guy went red and said he’d fix it. In the week we were there he did fix this, on,y because the construction people broke the antennae & it had to be replaced. The WiFi speeds on the whole island isn’t great. TAKE 4G ROAMING PACKAGE
The rooms are cleaned daily to a good standard and the service only let down by their carts being left out 24/7 in the hallway, in the way, with their wet cloths drying on the balcony fences.
The suites with the mezzanine bed space are cute but the stairs would make a trip to the loo hazardous & most definitely wake you up negotiating them. We initially booked this but downgraded when we saw them. No refund was given but we negotiated a room credit for most of the price difference.
The bar is well equipment and has lovely staff but their bar skills/knowledge is poor so random drinks can ensue, despite there being a menu.
They’re more than happy for you to direct them to exactly what you want however.
The breakfast is a basic “continental’ style (cereal/bread/cheeses/eggs etc) with random extras added (pizza / samosas / club sandwiches). Served until 11am.
The lunch/dinner menu is fairly comprehensive and the portions generous and quite well done, if you choose well. There is a selection of local & international wines too, although the white by the bottle needs to be chilled once purchased, so you need to plan ahead.
We stayed in April. We feel if the hotel was using this month to make improvements they should be closed as we felt 100% unwelcome and that our presence was a nuisance whilst they were busy with the workmen.
Overall my opinion is that for the price, there are much better hotels around Kyrenia
