Fantastic family stay in the mountains. Lovely hotel with friendly helpful staff
We stayed in one of the apartments and had plenty of space for our family of 5. The spacious terrace was a bonus and gave us spectacular views across the mountains and valley.
The room was immaculate, and the beds very comfortable. The shower was great, too.
We enjoyed the pool and spa area almost every day. The kids thoroughly enjoyed swimming and occasional the dip in the jacuzzi.
The hotel was very private and quiet, with a maximum of 56 people, so it never seemed busy.
We chose the half-board option which gave us a good selection for breakfast along with a four course meal in the evening: appetiser, soup, main and desert. Each evening we had the choice of three different options for the main course.
The food was perhaps the best food I have had on a family holiday. The quality and presentation was excellent.
The meal choices were often aimed at a more mature palette, and our kids struggled with one or two of them, however the staff were amazing and very accommodating. They even offered to create more child-friendly options if they could, and if we gave them enough notice. This was absolutely brilliant of them and made all the difference. I can’t say thank you enough for this.
On that point, every member of the team we spoke to or were served by were amazing. Polite, friendly and helpful.
We also enjoyed playing basketball and giant chess - both of which were provided by the hotel.
Lastly, during our stay there were two live music performances in the lobby. Both of them were excellent semi-private concert experiences. A really nice surprise for our evening.
We’ve already recommended the hotel to our friends and hope to return here sometime in the future.

Our stay at Hotel Fitak was truly exceptional and left us with only positive impressions.
Accommodation and Comfort
The room was spacious, cozy, and very well-equipped. The comfort and furnishings were of a high standard, and everything was clean and well-maintained. A minibar and a safe were available, adding to the overall convenience.
Dining and Services
The food was excellent, as was the selection in the lobby bar. The waitstaff were professional and attentive, and cleanliness was maintained at the highest level. We greatly appreciated that the kitchen was willing to prepare meals according to dietary restrictions.
Staff and Organization
The entire staff was fantastic, friendly, and always willing to accommodate our requests. Both check-in and check-out were smooth and efficient.
Wellness and Surroundings
We visited the wellness area, which amazed us with its wide selection of saunas and a wonderfully relaxing atmosphere. Everything was spotlessly clean and well-maintained. The hotel is situated near the forest, making it perfect for hiking and nature walks. Additionally, it offers great access to the city, tourist attractions, and ski resorts.
Overall Rating
Our stay at Hotel Fitak exceeded expectations, and we highly recommend it to anyone looking for comfort, excellent service, and a beautiful environment. We will definitely be returning!
