Beautiful hostel in Low Tatra

Chata pod Certovica is a beautiful hostel in a small otherwise empty valley a little bit down from the Certovica buss stop. It's close by a lot of amazing hikes and the hosts showed me a lot routes I could take and offered me to drive me to the start of one.
Breakfast and dinner are simple but tasty. And the small wellness is great for a massage after a long hike.
I was really feeling at home here, and I would certainly come here again if I'm back in the area!

Cosy house and excellent placement for peaceful stay!

Absolutely excellent stay.
Very friendly host and peaceful placement between the hills.
I am sure it's fantastic place in winter also, as the cableways up the mountain starts near the house.
Free tennis court, possible to play football, basketball and of course to hike.
I strongly recommend it!

Nice montains, quiet enviroment

I was not staying there, but I was close to the ”chata” and I loved the neighbourhood, the nature, the nice position of the ”chata” on the top of the Certovica pass, with its road between the Brezno region and the Liptov region. The road shows a lot of nice images and panoramas of the Lower Tatra Mountains. I highly recommend it. I think in winter there is the heaven of ski-lovers. Very close are the very ”picturesque” villages of Nyzna Boca and Vysna Boca.

The best budget place to stay in Low Tatras.

If u like family and quite place this is it! Very Good location for ski, free ride, hiking. Just 100m from ski lift. Staff is great! Food also. For 60€/room you get 5* room with stuning view. U can enjoy sauna or whirpool or ice rink. They have lovely dog.Nature around is beautiful. Ski area is not crowded. One day skipass cost 15€. U can ski from 9:00am to 3.30pm. Lunch cost 5€. If u visit this place you will come back for shore.

Nezabudnuteľný víkend s rodinou

Strávili sme tu víkend s rodinou a boli sme očarení. Krásne prostredie, v malebnej doline, jazierko so pstruhami, hned pri chate... Privítali nás ustretoví, milí ludia, ktorí sa o nás parádne starali a nič nebol pre nich problém. Ak v zime, neviete vyjsť autom k chate, prídu pre vás. Strava bola výborná, domáca. Wellness je na úrovni, výborne vybavený a schladenie v jazierku po saune, je naozaj zážitok. Chata je pekne zariadená, wc a izby nové a čisté. Nemám čo vytknúť, cítili sme sa velmi príjemne a nechcelo sa nám íst domov. Určite sa vrátime a môžem len a len odporučiť. Ďakujem skvelému kolektívu chaty pod Čertovicou za super zážitok, na ktorý budeme dlho v dobrom spomínať.
