Upon arrival the staff was extremely helpful and very polite. We had our dog with us and they suggested places to go with him that he would enjoy. They were spot on. The room was very clean and perfect for the 4 of us. The only suggestion is that the front entry is not great for rolling heavy suitcases into the lobby. There is a combination of half ramp half stairs that requires carrying your luggage. This is an easy thing to resolve and is honestly the only thing to find at fault with the atmosphere. I would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone wishing to stay in the area.

WORSE EXPERIENCE IN KRANJSKA GORA

Dont't know where to start. Firstly, pricing - I do understand that it is up to us to book, however, 1400 EUR for 2 nights for 3 pax is way to much for service, accomodation what you are having. Being from the travel industry we have travelled the world and your pricing policy is outrageous. Breakfast is disaster, no spoons, egg station is for 1970's hotel in Yugoslav times such as your hotel. Maybe it is your marketing policy - Stay expensive in oldest possible hotel in Slovenia. No A/C!!!! Your stafff - no words for front desk!!! such a rude bunch of people did not see for a long time. Spa for 19 EUR pe person which is not working and you do not even provide towels or bath robes!!!! Bathroom - I ca barely fit in the showwer, which, by the way did not remodeled maybe since hotel was opened. Speechless. Finally...the best of all are beds, squaky beds with matrasses like in prison.
Please please geust if you are will read this or your are considering staying....DO NOT STAY AT THIS PROPERTY
For sure, we will not use Eurohotel chain ever again

Nice staff, very old rooms with no ac and separate bed (with grand canyon forming between beds).
Maid stormed in around 10:25 without knocking.
Nice scenery, but its only good value for money with great discount.

Wonderful stay, as soon as they saw our dog they recommended places that he might enjoy. The river across the street became his favorite spot.

Nice, but cheap renovation

I have been in this hotel for many times under different owners. Today's owner obviously wants to restore the good image of the hotel but it is stil a lot of work to do. The hotel is under renovation, which was great as it was really needed. We were in the renovated room, which looks nice at the first sight but it turned out to be very cheap. Te wardrobe is without doors - only shelfs and hangers. Two shelfs were occupied by the sef and the refrigeratore. So not much place for your clothes. Very bad lightening - no light over the sofa and the table, so I had to have my own light. But I like that there is not carpet any more on the floor.
The shower has too little slope and very little edge, so the water overflows the edge and the whole bathroom if flooded as it has no drain.
The reception is now in the bottom where a bar used to be. I am not sure if I like it. There is a small library which is nice. They also have some hotel umbrellas at the dood so you can borrow them. Nice touch.
The restaurant is opened and joined with the bar. Yes it is more opened and airy but not so friendly.
The staff is very kind, but they have some employees who don't speak slovene which is absolutely unacceptable. OK for cleaning ladies, but waiters - no go. They must at least know how to say Thank you, Please or Good morning in slovene if we are in Slovenia.
Conference rooms are the same with very little changes.
We didn't use the pool and the SPA, so I don't know if anything is changed.
But the location is still the best in Kranjska gora (close to the center and the lake Jasna), the view is fenomenal and I recommend it nevertheless.
I believe that it will be better when the whole renovation will be done.
