HOTEL FOR A QUIET AND QUIET SECRET RECREATION
My husband and I were specifically looking for a quiet, secluded hotel with few rooms, as we like a quiet vacation. The hotel lived up to our expectations. Of the 10 rooms, 1-2 were occupied (as it was out of season), and the remaining week lived alone in the hotel.
FOOD. We bought the tour with one breakfast on the advice of the travel agent in order to save on the cost of the tour. We bought fresh assorted fish, other marine delicacies, different exotic fruits at the supermarket and the chef at the hotel cooked us an excellent dinner with a variety of very deliciously seasoned vegetables. We really enjoyed breakfast, my husband and I had a good meal.
BEACH AND OCEAN. First of all, it didn't matter to us to have a swimming pool in the hotel, because we only like to swim in the ocean, and so we found ourselves a hotel for our holidays, which is right on the beach, the ocean was within walking distance, it was enough to go down the stairs in three steps and we are already on the beach. We spent a lot of time on the beach swimming and sunbathing. It should be noted that in off-season the ocean is turbulent and you should swim with caution. There was almost always no one on the beach but us and it seemed as if we were alone on a desert island, we enjoyed this privacy, beautiful beaches with picturesquely scattered stones on the shoreline, rolling waves of the ocean caressed our ears, we admired a delicate haze woven from tiny sprays shattering on the shore and rocks, waves. Our souls filled with peace)
OFF-SEASON WEATHER. We were very lucky with the lack of rain, as we thought it was often raining here in the off-season. While we were resting here, it didn't rain at all.
TOURS. Despite the natural laziness of the hosts, we did take one excursion, a very voluminous one - the Kandy Excursion. It includes a visit to an elephant nursery in Pinnavel (we were riding an elephant for the first time), a visit to the Royal Botanic Garden in Peradeniya (here we purchased some spices and creams), a visit to a tea plantation where we bought tea green for a whole year, a visit to the Royal Palace , a sightseeing tour of Kandy and a visit to the Temple of the Tooth of the Buddha.
On the beach we met local Lankans - Denis (in Russian fashion) and his friend who work at the beach restaurant, they gave us a magical romantic dinner (very deliciously prepared various sea delicacies and so on) on the ocean with torches. It was unforgettable!!! And they gave us a wonderful motorboat tour of the lagoon with a visit to the island with a local; they also swam into completely invisible passages of mangroves - impressive)), rode tuk-tuk. Good-natured guys!
TERRITORY AND NUMBER. It is worth noting that the property is small, cozy, with soft trimmed grass, sunbeds are provided free of charge, and the most important highlight of the hotel is the mini-pool with fish for peeling feet (free of charge), we really liked it.
Room is clean cozy, furniture and plumbing are new, there is air conditioning, fan. You need an adapter for the outlet.
There's Wi-FI, but we didn't use it.
The hotel staff are friendly and friendly, we became very friends. Overall, the impression of the hotel is positive.
We are very fond of Sri Lanka, the smiley people of this island, we are delighted with our trip)))

Have a relaxing holiday here
If you are looking for a secluded getaway away from the crowds of tourists, then this is definitely the place for you! The location of the hotel is excellent - 40 meters from the room and you are by the ocean. And sleeping to the sound of the waves is a special pleasure. The beach and water are clean. But keep in mind the seasons that occur on the island, since in the low season it is quite dangerous to swim (strong waves and rip currents that are difficult to cope with). As for the owner of the hotel, he is a wonderful and kind person named Pryanka, who will always help you. He carefully prepared our breakfasts every day, which included: fresh smoothies, various types of scrambled eggs, sandwiches with fish or sausage, hamburgers, bowls of fresh fruit (pineapple, papaya, watermelon), black tea. Also, the owner once helped us prepare soup, which we missed due to the specific local Asian cuisine. The only negative is the “tired” rooms, but the hotel is 2*, so don’t expect to live in mansions. Video surveillance is installed throughout the territory. Outsiders and locals do not enter the territory. There is a Keels supermarket next to the hotel, 12-15 minutes walk to the city. There is nothing to do in the city itself. Keep in mind that all alcohol is sold only in one store. Overall I was very pleased.

Ramon beach
The hotel is located in a quiet, calm area, where there are no crowds of tourists, absolutely deserted beaches, very beautiful views, cleanliness all around, for those who want to be alone with nature and listen to the sound of the ocean, this is an ideal option, the room itself is simple but everything you need is there and clean, the territory is well-groomed, strangers are not allowed in, the owner of the hotel Pryanka is the kindest person, he took 3 meals a day and he personally prepared lunch and dinner for me every day exactly what I choose from the menu, the food is very tasty and not spicy, the menu is varied when I went on an excursion and skipped breakfast, he prepared a lunchbox for me, in general, I left only positive emotions about this hotel)

Worth to stay..
Stayed there for couple of nights and found the place is calm and relaxing. They offer the breakfast ala carte and free wifi. Rooms are also spacious and clean. In the property it has only few vehicle parking space so better to double check with the property before you arrive. They have a lobby to spend time together or watch the cable tv. Recommended..

Budgeted palce......
The place is located on the main road to Galle just 2km away form Ambalangoda. It has a very nice beach at the back of the hotel. The room is very nice and cozy. I've stayed with my wife on September. The staff is very friendly and helpful.
