Perfect experience blend with nature and relaxation
I recently stayed at this beautiful rustic property in Arugam Bay and absolutely loved the experience! The place is surrounded by lush greenery, with trees thoughtfully preserved throughout the property — it truly feels like you’re living in harmony with nature. Despite its peaceful setting, there’s plenty to do around the property, making it perfect for both relaxation and adventure. A great spot for anyone who appreciates natural beauty and a calm, authentic atmosphere.
Rooms are amazing, gives you a luxury vibe blended with nature. Amenities are superb. Freindly service is highly appreciated.

So close to the Arugam bay strip , yet feels far away and in nature . We even had a visit by a wild elephant.
You feel you are in a remote place with wild animals yet just 5 minutes from the arugam bay strip. Ideal location for bird watching and acres to beach

A hidden gem
This place is rustic but it’s the setting and staff that make it wonderful. There are a few different buildings to stay in and ideal for family/friends groups. Sitting having breakfast looking out at the river is magical. You really feel in the middle of the jungle but only a couple of Km from Aragum bay.

Immersed in nature
Our stay at "Ganga Addara" at Kudakalliya granted us a host of unforgettable "first time" experiences ; showering outdoors beneath a sky full of stars, sharing our rooms with cute little froggie friends, seeing an elephant bathing contentedly from our balcony, the friendliest doggies guiding us towards the beach, enjoying the beauty and tranquility of the lagoon from just across our bedroom - to name a few.
The rooms were simple, comfortable and wonderfully cool in the early mornings and evenings. The afternoons were rather hot though and the host informed us that they were planning to install air conditioning in the rooms.
The staff - Murali, Dilshan and the rest were professional, hospitable and always glad to oblige. The food was delicious too!
Looking forward to visiting again!!

An idyllic setting for a great holiday away from the maddening crowds
Our stay was calm and peaceful. The staff were excellent and multitasked to attend to our every need or request. The food was delicious a blend of both traditional Lankan or western. The leisurely walks on the beach accompanied by the dogs both morning or evening was therapeutic. The property overlooks an island reserve Elephants often visit to feed and can be observed from the specially erected viewing platforms. A canoeing around the island and stopping to view the Elephants was a highlight. Easy access to town.
