Amazing days
We had a amazing experience!! People was very kind with us, the food was really good. The houses are beautiful, perfect to relax and enjoy the amazing view and nature. We saw a lot of birds, the place is really cool!

Very poor
Need to write a very bad comment what I have experience readonly in a hotel very poor service never recommend thos place to any one no clen8nes all over the place stray dogs infant their around your cottage even trying to come inside to the room , verybad Road condition basically with normal vehicle no acseas had to pay 2000 rs per threwheeler that was arrange bythe hotel per way Had to park the vehicle 800Meeters away All over the place Kudalloo even coming to the room had the verse hotel experience It's not worth for mony and you have to pay additional for even transport 800meeters due to road issue Washrooms also not clean gice a text that I can post as a review

Very Disappointing Experience – Not Recommended
I had one of the worst hotel experiences here and would not recommend this place to anyone. The service was extremely poor, and the overall cleanliness was unacceptable. The entire property was dirty, including the washrooms, which were not properly maintained.
There were stray dogs all around the property, even near the cottages, and they were trying to come inside the room, which felt very unsafe and uncomfortable.
The road conditions to access the hotel are terrible. It is impossible to reach the location with a normal vehicle. We had to park our car about 800 meters away and pay LKR 2000 per trip for a three-wheeler arranged by the hotel, just to get to the property. This extra cost and inconvenience were not informed properly in advance.
Additionally, there were pests (kudalloo) everywhere, even inside the room, which made the stay even more unpleasant.
Overall, this place is not worth the money at all. With poor service, lack of cleanliness, difficult access, and additional hidden costs, it was a very frustrating experience.

• “Completely Misleading – Don’t Be Fooled by the Photos”
Extremely disappointing experience. No hot water available, which was very frustrating. The place is located very far from the main road, and the road to get there is unbelievably bad—almost impossible to drive without damaging your vehicle.
The cleanliness was terrible—nothing like what you see in the photos. The pictures online are completely misleading and do not reflect the actual condition of the property. On top of that, the service was poor and unprofessional. The owner gave us false information and clearly misled us about the facilities and the location.
Not worth the money or the trouble. I wouldn’t recommend this place to anyone. Be careful before you book!

A Good impression ruined in vain
We booked Artist cottage for one night. Pre-arrival stage to be appreciated for the good communication between from the host Avi.
We came in a Starbus ( like a city ride) so we couldn't come down from Haputale town since that road was too small. Took another route down from Wellawaya road, We couldn't reach all the way to the cottage so parked the bus after 4/5 of the way and carried our stuff up ( wasn't a long way after that though )
The cottage is nestled providing an amazing view.
The kitchen was well equipped with all utensils and even some condiments to prepare your own food.
Cleanliness was good
Bed linen was well provided.
Reason for 3 star rating is because we experienced issues with the water supply that really ruined our total impression.
On Arrival day we came at about 8.30pm after a few troubles with the route. We needed a good shower but the hot water was not working, so had to go for the cold shower.
Following day we had no water at all, the host did assist in filling up the tank but it took way too long for the sediments to settle in the tank to provide clean water that we decided to depart without even a morning wash or cup of tea since we were already held back on the schedule.

Splendid Isolation.
To get to this place requires a bit of determination but your effort will be well rewarded; the accommodation s at the very end of a long, steep and rocky track. The rewards are breathtaking views and total seclusion surrounded by jungle. The food is plant-based and prepared by the lovely plant-based Avi!
