Very unique concept and beautiful location-MUST visit
Disliked · - it is very far from the rafting place, however the tour company that the resort puts us in touch with pick up from the resort and dropped me without any extra charges and the journey takes you through a very scenic road
- there was some confusion / lack of communication that the place involved getting off my car at about 5 kms before reaching the resort and switching over to a tuk-tuk
- google map location is completely wrong and that added to confusion
- although I was regularly in touch with the hosts, and was provided guidance on how to reach the resort the above points were somehow not mentioned, and this was a bit of a let down for me before I reached.
- the last one km is a very rough patch and is bumpy

Great Place to Escape from the Busy World
However, the property needs better maintenance to improve the overall guest experience. In addition, the road leading to the hotel should be properly constructed, as it is currently difficult to access. It would also be helpful to place a clear signboard showing the entrance pathway to the hotel.
Another improvement would be to manage or remove cats and dogs from the hotel premises, as this would help provide a cleaner and more comfortable experience for guests.
With better maintenance, improved access, and proper management of the premises, this place could become an even better destination for guests looking for peace and relaxation.

Shortly after arriving, I explored the area and found a nearby waterfall. Later, I walked into the kitchen and was shocked to see cats roaming freely, eating food directly from the pots and pans used for cooking. I captured photos and videos of this, as I was making a video of the resort at the time and had left my phone in the kitchen.The hygiene was extremely poor. The bed linens in the rooms were dirty, and the overall cleanliness of the resort was unacceptable. When I asked to speak with the manager, I was told he was not available. I still don’t know if that was true.
I didn’t post this review earlier because my phone broke during a rafting trip, and I only recently recovered my media from iCloud. Seeing those images reminded me how disappointing and unsafe the experience was.
Now I notice the resort name has changed to "Cave N Falls Nature Resort & Water Park "Gallena Gedara" Please be warned:
I do not recommend this place to anyone. It is unsanitary, poorly managed, and in my opinion, unsafe for visitors.
